Sandwich-type, composite component having a sprayed backside protective coating
A sandwich-type, composite component having a sprayed backside protective coating is provided. The component includes a first outer layer having an outer surface, a second outer layer and a core positioned between and bonded to the outer layers and having a plurality of cavities. The protective coating is integrally formed from an elastomeric material. The material is sprayed to form the coating and the coating is bonded to the outer surface by curing. The component may be a vehicle interior component such as a vehicle load floor component.
VENTILATION STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
A ventilation includes an inlet opening, an outlet opening, and a ventilation passage. The inlet opening is disposed in an interior space at a rear portion of a vehicle. The outlet opening exhausts air in the interior space that has passed through the inlet opening to the outside of the vehicle. The ventilation passage is formed by being surrounded by an interior member that faces the interior space and a vehicle body panel that covers the outside of the interior member, and allows communication between the inlet opening and the outlet opening. A shielding plate that extends to intersect a noise entry path from the outlet opening to the inlet opening is disposed in a middle of the ventilation passage.
Integrated vacuum for motor vehicle
A vehicle having an on-board vacuum includes an interior trim quarter side panel assembly disposed adjacent a third row of seats, and an on-board central vacuum system integrated into the interior trim quarter panel assembly. The interior trim quarter side panel assembly includes an outermost surface, an armrest portion positioned between an inboard sidewall and an outboard sidewall of the interior trim quarter panel assembly, and generally sloping toward an interior floor of the vehicle, and a handle pocket defining an opening in the armrest portion and a cavity below the outermost surface. The on-board central vacuum system includes a vacuum hose coupled to a vacuum motor assembly, and a vacuum nozzle handle coupled to the vacuum hose and nestingly received within the handle pocket such that in a stowed position within the handle pocket cavity, the vacuum nozzle handle is located at or below the outermost surface.
CARGO COMPONENT OF VEHICLE
A cargo component of a vehicle includes a panel, at least one ridge, and a plurality of measurement gradations. The ridge extends along the panel. The plurality of measurement gradations are formed in and along the ridge. In one form, the ridge extends in a longitudinal direction of the panel.
VEHICLE FLOORING SYSTEM WITH ROLLERS
A vehicle flooring system configured to enable movement of cargo within a vehicle. The flooring system is made up of individual flooring panels connected via a snap fit type connection. In one embodiment, the flooring panels define one or more openings/slots configured to receive and secure one or more rollers. The rollers are configured to enable slidable movement of cargo within the vehicle. In another embodiment, the flooring panels include one or more lightweight panels and one or more reinforced panels. In one example, the reinforced panels are metal, such as extruded aluminum. In another example, the lightweight panels are a polymeric material, such as extruded plastic. The flooring system is further configured to satisfy government regulations concerning pull testing.
Luggage board device for vehicle
A luggage board device for a vehicle is configured to adjust a height of a partition board, which is composed of a front board, an intermediate board, and a rear board, through movements of the partition board in a vertical direction, in a state in which the partition board is horizontally unfolded, be utilized as a multi-stage shelf like a step shape by rotating the front board and the rear board up and down with the intermediate board as a reference, and be utilized as a table in indoor and outdoor spaces of a luggage room.
Apparatus for collection of debris escaping around a vehicle tailgate
A multi-panel cover includes end panels that connect first and second lateral panels. The lateral panels seat against the tailgate assembly of a truck body and are maintained in position by magnets incorporated into a lateral panel along the edges and between the side panels to form a pocket to collect debris that may otherwise escape through or around the tailgate of the vehicle. A peripheral sealing material such as an elastic cord or hook and loop seal may be positioned around the tailgate gap to augment sealing.
MOTOR VEHICLE AND A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL COVER FOR SAME
A motor vehicle is disclosed having a flexible cover that is multi-functional in nature and can be configured as a cover for a rear luggage compartment of the motor vehicle as a small item carrier, as an extendible weather protector and as a roof protector for the motor vehicle.
WINDOW DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A window device for a vehicle, the window device including: a light-transmitting plate having light-transmitting property and fixed to a vehicle body to physically partition an exterior and an interior of the vehicle; a light-shielding body having light-shielding property and provided along the light-transmitting plate within a view of a vehicle occupant; and a moving mechanism configured to move the light-shielding body up and down so as to widen or narrow a view obtained through the light-transmitting plate above the light-shielding body.
VEHICLE CARGO BED STRUCTURE
A vehicle cargo bed structure includes a tailgate and a tailgate gap cover. The tailgate gap cover has a first attachment structure fixedly attached to a bed floor of the vehicle cargo bed structure, a second attachment structure fixedly attached to the bed floor at a location spaced apart from the first attachment structure, and a biasing structure. The tailgate gap cover is pivotal between a horizontal orientation with the tailgate in an open position, and an upright orientation with the tailgate in a closed position. The tailgate gap cover covers a gap between the tailgate and the bed floor with the tailgate in the open position. The biasing structure extends from the first attachment structure to the second attachment structure and biases the tailgate gap cover into contact with the tailgate in both the horizontal orientation and the upright orientation.
