REINFORCED SPOOL ASSEMBLY
20230053255 · 2023-02-16 ·

A reinforced spool assembly has a shaft, a spool member coaxially mounted around the shaft, and two ratchets mounted on two axial ends of a combination of the shaft and the spool member. Each one of two ratchets has a body having an inner surface. The two inner surfaces of the two bodies face each other. In each one of the ratchets, the body has a reinforced supporting structure. The reinforced supporting structure is located between the shaft and the spool member and is offset from the inner surface of the body. A reference plane is defined on and extends along the inner surface of the body, is perpendicular to a central axis of the shaft, and passes through the reinforced supporting structure. Mechanical strength of the reinforced spool assembly is increased by the reinforced supporting structure.

SELF-ADJUSTING SAFETY BELT SYSTEM FOR OCCUPANTS OF VARYING SIZES

A multi-point seat belt safety apparatus and system and device that automatically moves, adjusts, or otherwise corrects itself around one or more webbing deflection points, and utilizes different components, to accommodate seat occupants with different sizes and ages. In particular, when an occupant extends the webbing across their torso towards an anchor point, generally disposed to the near the side of their waist, the webbing first contacts the torso/shoulder of the occupant at a particular distance above the seat, which is reflective of the occupant's height, causing the webbing to automatically move along a length of a deflection element, positioned at, above, or near the shoulder of the seat occupant, to an appropriate deflection point. At such, the webbing is kept at a proper location, away from the neck of the occupant.

WEBBING TAKE-UP DEVICE
20170327077 · 2017-11-16 ·

A webbing take-up device is provided with a spool and a stopper member. A webbing is taken up onto the spool. The spool includes a webbing insertion hole into which the webbing is inserted. The stopper member secures an end portion of the webbing at the spool by engaging with a periphery portion of the webbing insertion hole. The webbing take-up device is also provided with load bracing portions (a portion at an axial direction one side of a first serrated portion and a portion at an axial direction another side of a rod portion that are formed at a torsion shaft). The load bracing portions are disposed at the diametric direction inner side of the spool relative to the stopper member and are disposed to be close to the spool. The load bracing portions brace a load that is applied to the spool from the webbing via the stopper member.
