WEBBING TAKE-UP DEVICE
A webbing take-up device is provided that includes a spool configured to take up a webbing of a seatbelt device, a rotating member configured to rotate the spool in the take-up direction, a tube-shaped cylinder, a moving member provided inside the cylinder that, when moved by a pressurized fluid, causes the rotating member to rotate by engaging with a side of the rotating member. At the end of its movement through the cylinder, the moving member abuts and moves a stopper inside a recess, suppressing movement of the moving member without an engaging member jabbing or biting into the moving member.
WEBBING TAKE-UP DEVICE
A webbing take-up device including: a spool; a rotating member configured such that the spool is rotated in a take-up direction by the rotating member being rotated toward one side; a cylinder open at an axial direction leading end side; a fluid supplier provided at an axial direction base end side of the cylinder and supplying a fluid inside the cylinder in a vehicle emergency; a moving member provided inside the cylinder, moved toward the axial direction leading end side of the cylinder due to pressure of the fluid, and rotating the rotating member toward the one side by being moved in a state in which a tooth of the rotating member has bitten into or pierced the moving member; and a stopper provided further toward a movement direction side of the moving member than a section where the tooth of the rotating member has bitten into or pierced the moving member, the stopper being pressed by a portion of the moving member where the biting into or piercing of the rotating member has been disengaged, the stopper being engaged by teeth of the rotating member, and the stopper suppresses rotation of the rotating member toward the one side by the stopper being moved toward the section where teeth of the rotating member bite into or pierce the moving member.
Seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly
A seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly for use in a passenger vehicle is provided. The pretensioning assembly includes a tube in fluid communication with a gas generator and a driving element disposed therein that travels in a first direction in response to actuation of the gas generator. The driving element includes a plastically deformable polymer rod with a recessed portion. A stopper is coupled to an end portion of the plastically deformable polymer rod. A seal member is disposed between the gas generator and the stopper. The tube includes a projection extending within the tube adjacent to the exit to define a constriction portion. The constriction portion is sized to permit the recessed portion of the plastically deformable polymer rod to pass therethrough while preventing the stopper from passing therethrough.
FORCE TRANSMISSION ELEMENT FOR A DEVICE FOR BELT TENSIONING AND A DEVICE FOR BELT TENSIONING WITH SUCH A FORCE TRANSMISSION ELEMENT
A force transfer element for an apparatus for belt tightening is provided, wherein the force transfer element is a rod-shaped body that is essentially structured over its total length and/or is formed from at least a first and a second part.
Belt tightener
A belt retractor (10) of a seatbelt system comprises a belt tensioner (11) which is adapted to rotate a belt reel (14) of the belt retractor (10) accommodated in a belt retractor frame (12), wherein the belt retractor frame (12) is closed by a cover (16) on the tensioner side in the area of the spindle of the belt reel (14) and in the cover (16) a bearing for the belt reel (14) is provided. The cover (16) includes a first pot-shaped cover part (16a) which is mounted directly on the belt retractor frame (12) and has a side wall (24) merging into a flat portion (26). In the flat portion (26) an opening (32) is spared and a second cover part (16b) is provided which engages in the opening (32) in the first cover part (16a) and on which a bearing (40) is formed in which an end (42) of the spindle of the belt reel (14) is supported.
Seat belt retractor
A seatbelt retractor for a seat belt device in a vehicle. The retractor including a frame and a spool. The spool is configured to be fixed to one end of a webbing which is wound around the spool. A pretensioner device configured to rotate the spool in response to an excessive acceleration of the vehicle. The pretensioner device comprises a power transmission element carried in a pretensioner tube that is driven by a piston located in the pretensioner tube. The pretensioner device includes a gas generator for driving the piston into the power transmission element. The pretensioner device includes a seal system that includes a stopper tube located in a downstream end of the pretensioner tube to create a stop location for the piston to prevent operating gas from exiting the end of the pretensioner tube.
Belt tightener
A belt tensioner (10) for a seatbelt system comprises a tensioner tube (20) having an open outlet end and a force transmission element (22) which is guided in the tensioner tube (20) and which leaves the tensioner tube (20) via the open outlet end, a gas generator (18) providing compressed gas for displacing the force transmission element (22) within the tensioner tube (20) as well as a drive wheel (16) rotated by the force transmission element (22) leaving the tensioner tube (20).
