A tonneau system for use with a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a frame and a tonneau cover having a plurality of tonneau sections moveable between an extended position covering a cargo box of the pickup truck and a folded position forming a stack of the tonneau sections. The stack being coupled to the frame and pivotally moveable between a first position depending into the cargo box and a second position extending upward generally from the cargo box.

A tonneau system for use with a cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a pair of side rails for mounting to the sidewalls of the cargo box and a tonneau cover having at least two tonneau sections and being moveable relative to one another between an unfolded state and a folded state. In the unfolded state the tonneau sections substantially covering the cargo box and in the folded state the tonneau sections being arranged in a stack. The stack of tonneau sections is pivotally connected to the side rails by a pivot connection that is moveable between secure and release positions. The system further includes a cover that has multiple slats that are configured to interlock with one another in a deployed configuration. The slats cooperate with the drive assembly and are slidable in the tracks between first and second positions within the opening in response to actuation of the drive assembly. The slats are stacked onto one another in a stowed configuration. The system further includes a follower that supports the slats. The system further includes a spring-biased pulley system that is configured to cooperate with the follower and biases the slats toward the tracks.

A method of servicing a retractable cover system includes the step of removing an access cover from a magazine to expose a cavity housing stacked rigid slats. A method of retracting a tonneau cover includes the steps of actuating a handle and decoupling the tonneau cover from a drive mechanism.

Systems and methods for removing particles from a surface of a substrate without damage to the substrate are provided. The disclosed systems/methods use polymeric microstructures, e.g., microfibrils, to remove micrometric and sub-micrometric particles from a substrate surface by establishing interfacial interactions with the particles that effectively debond the particles from the surface of the substrate. The disclosed systems/methods have wide ranging applications, including particle removal in art conservation processes, microelectronic applications, optical applications and any other field that stands to benefit from precise removal of particles/dust from a surface without damage to the surface.
