Railway vehicle coupler
A knuckle of a coupler of a rail vehicle includes a leading beam having a pulling face, a lateral offset beam extending from the leading beam, a tail extending from the lateral offset beam, an extension wall extending from the lateral offset beam towards an end of the tail, and a tapered lock engagement wall extending from the extension wall to the end of the tail. The tapered lock engagement wall is angled in relation to the extension wall. The tapered lock engagement wall is configured to engage an interior face of a main body of a lock of the coupler. The interior face defines a knuckle-engaging surface that is configured to bear against the tapered lock engagement wall.

Coupler knuckle, cores and method of production
An improved method of production of a coupler knuckle, a core assembly for production of a coupler knuckle, and coupler knuckle having an improved interior configuration for handling forces imparted on the knuckle and transferring said imparted forces through the knuckle and improving handling of linear force loads and their transmission. The knuckle interior has a force handling structure that includes spaced apart layers and cavities, with a cavity extending between the nose section and the tail section thereof.

VEHICLE COUPLER, COUPLER TONGUE AND COUPLER BODY
A vehicle coupler, a coupler tongue and a coupler body. Upper traction platforms and lower traction platforms of the coupler tongue and the hook body are arranged in an offset manner in the horizontal direction, and the section R of a traction surface of the upper traction platform and the section S of a traction surface of the lower traction platform are obtained by sectioning the coupler tongue along any vertical surface across an axis of a pin hole; and the perpendicular distance between the point on the section R closest to a nock portion and the axis of the pin hole is k, and the perpendicular distance between the point on the section S closest to the neck portion and the axis of the pin hole is m, and as such, n=|km|, and 10 mmn125 mm.

RAILWAY VEHICLE, COUPLER, AND COUPLER BODY THEREOF
A railway vehicle, a coupler, and a coupler body thereof. The coupler body comprises an upper traction platform, a lower traction platform, a lock chamber, and a pin hole. A traction surface of an upper traction platform and/or a lower traction platform is divided into a contact area and a yielding area along the direction approaching the lock chamber, an extension face of the end of the contact area close to the lock chamber is an M2 face, and the yielding area is positioned at the side of the M2 face close to the pin hole. The yielding area is positioned on the side of the contact area next to the lock chamber and there is a gap and no contact between the yielding area and a traction platform of a coupler knuckle.
LIFTING APPARATUS
An apparatus for attaching a coupler to a railroad car, the apparatus comprising a plurality of actuable coupler locking tabs adapted to engage with a knuckle on said coupler.
