Each winch reel system can include one or more wires that are engaged with a winch reel in order to adjust at least one feature of a child containment device. In other embodiments, the one or more wires can be replaced with one or more lines, cables, or straps. In some embodiments, each winch reel system can include at least one toothed pawl to engage the winch reel.

A rotation of the second frame portion for collapsing the child seat causes the linking member to move for urging the tray latch to disengage from the tray.
