PLANING BOAT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
20170327193 · 2017-11-16 ·

A planning boat includes at least one tank provided on a bottom of the boat. The tank has, at a stern side, a wall through which a through hole is provided below a waterline. A hull of the planning boat includes a bottom plate that forms the bottom of the boat, right and left side plates that form sides of the boat and a bow, a transom plate that forms a stern, and a plurality of longitudinal vertical plates. The plurality of longitudinal vertical plates each extend between the transom plate and forward portions of the side plates along a sailing direction and each have a lower surface that is fixed to an upper surface of the bottom plate. The tank is formed by using the pair of longitudinal vertical plates of the existing planning boat.

APPARATUS FOR GAS STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
20220185432 · 2022-06-16 ·

A gas transport vessel having a hull and a tank longitudinally received in the hull and method of constructing the tank within the hull. The vessel is designed to transport fluids, such as hydrogen or other gases and liquids. The tank has a plurality of layers that are unconnected to adjacent layers. The tank contacts the vessel at a top and bottom. The top connection, for example a connection to deck structure, supports the tank for preventing sagging. The tank may be substantially the length of the ship and located between a forward and a rearward bulkhead. Two tanks may placed adjacent one another separated by a longitudinal bulkhead. Each layer has a forward and rearward end cap constructed of multiple frusto-conical sections. A space is provided on sides of the tank to permit expansion. The tank is integral with ship structure, thereby providing additional strength to the vessel.

STRINGER AND SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING EQUIPMENT TO A VESSEL'S HULL

A system for mounting equipment to a vessel's hull is disclosed. The system comprises a first stringer and a second stringer, where each stringer is attachable to the inside of the vessel's hull. The system also includes a layer of adhesive attaching both stringers to the inside of the vessels hull. Both stringers have a top cap for attaching equipment. Additionally, each stringer has a first vertical side wall connected to a first end of the top cap, a second vertical side wall connected to a second end of the top cap, and two flanged portions. A first flanged portion connects to a lower end of the first vertical side wall, and a second flanged portion connects to a lower end of the second vertical side wall. The system has an open side portion at the bottom end of both stringers.

METHOD FOR STIFFENING PLATES INTENDED FOR THE CREATION OF SHIP WALLS AND COMPRISING LAMINATED COMPOSITE MATERIALS, AND RESULTING PLATE
20190031292 · 2019-01-31 ·

Disclosed is a method for stiffening plates for ship walls. At least one elongate profile member of laminated composite material and having a transverse cross-section of a predetermined shape over the length thereof is pre-manufactured, the profile member being rigid. Then, a panel including laminated composite materials at least on the surface of at least one of the two main surfaces thereof is used, and the at least one pre-manufactured profile member is assembled and attached together onto one of the main surfaces of the panel. The main surface of the panel receives the profile member including laminated composite material. The profile member has a transverse cross-section with three continuous portions: two flanges having substantially straight cross-sections and interconnected by a web. The flanges and the web in transverse cross-section are supported by separate planes, the plane of the web intersecting the two planes, supporting the flanges, at 90.

Water surface autonomous vessel
