Vessel attachment device
A vessel attachment device includes a body, first and second attachment arms, a biasing member, and at least one line connection interface. At least one of the first attachment arm and the second attachment arm is movable relative to the body. The biasing member is configured to apply a biasing force at the at least one movable first and second attachment arm to bias the at least one movable first and second attachment arm to an open position. And, the biasing member is configured to selectively release the biasing force and apply an actuation force at the at least one movable first and second attachment arm to move the at least one movable first and second attachment arm from the open position to the closed position to attach the vessel attachment device to a vessel attachment point.
LONG-TERM MOORING DEVICE
The present invention provides a long-term mooring device. A support frame is provided on a dock. The dock is provided with a free guide roller. The free guide roller is wound with a cable. An upper end of the cable is horizontally connected to a spring fixed on a lower side of a cross arm of the support frame, through a free guide roller provided on the lower side of the cross arm of the support frame (corresponding to the free guide roller on the dock). The middle of the cable penetrates through an inertial induction self-locking connection joint fixed on an end of a platform arm. The platform arm is fixed on a platform. The present invention provides an omnidirectional restoring force for the moored platform through the elastic deformation of the springs to control the movement response of the platform within a certain range.
Bow stop for boats
A bow stop is an apparatus that safely aids in the docking of a boat. The apparatus includes at least tone length-adjustable stopper assembly. The at least one length-adjustable stopper assembly includes a telescopic bar, a stopper tube, a bungee cord, a first cradle mount, and a second cradle mount. The telescopic bar adjusts to the length of a boat. The stopper tube presses against the front of the bow. The bungee cord retracts the stopper tube into a neutral position. The first cradle mount and the second cradle mount secure the telescopic bar, and consequently the stopper tube and the bungee cord with the cradle mount. In a preferred embodiment, the at least one length-adjustable stopper assembly is a left length-adjustable stopper assembly and a right length-adjustable stopper assembly. The preferred embodiment further includes a length-adjustable cable, connecting the left length-adjustable stopper assembly with the right length-adjustable stopper assembly.
Watercraft Mooring System
A watercraft mooring system comprising a plurality of interchangeable mooring members for the temporary mooring of one watercraft to another watercraft or one watercraft to a stationary object such as a dock. The interchangeable mooring members comprising connecting rod member embodiments with adjustable lengths and connecting rod members without adjustable lengths, vacuum-handle member embodiments that provide an initial vacuum and a continuous vacuum to one or more vacuum cup assemblies, and a cleat connector member embodiment that is interchangeable with a vacuum-handle member. Embodiments of vacuum-handle member providing up to three points of omni-directional pivot functionality between the present invention and a temporarily moored watercraft.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES
Connectors assemblies. The connector assembly can include a stinger and a sleeve assembly that includes a latching mechanism. An outer surface of the stinger can define first and second grooves located toward first and second ends, respectively, thereof. An inner surface of the sleeve assembly can define first and second shoulders located toward first and second ends, respectively, thereof. The latching mechanism can be in an unlocked position or a locked position. When the latching mechanism is unlocked the stinger can be inserted into or removed from the sleeve assembly. When the stinger is within the sleeve assembly and the latching mechanism is locked, the latching mechanism can maintain a first split ring partially within the first groove and partially on the first shoulder and a second split ring partially within the second groove and partially on the second shoulder to secure the stinger within the sleeve assembly.
Assembly for anchoring a submerged vessel
Disclosed is an assembly for anchoring a submerged vehicle to a stationary object. The assembly includes a telescoping tube having a hollow inner tube and a hollow outer tube, each the inner tube and the outer tube having a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end of the inner tube slidably received within the outer tube through its proximal end. A snap button configured at the proximal end of the outer tube that can engage with a hole near the distal end of the inner tube for locking the movement of the inner tube within the outer tube. A rope having a first end and a second end, the first end of the rope attached to the inner tube near its proximal end. The second member passes through the eye of the spring hook and into the proximal end of the inner tube to form an anchoring loop. The second end of the rope exits the telescoping tube through the distal end of the outer tube and forms a boat hook loop.
Personal watercraft docking apparatus
Watercraft docking apparatus including a spreadable clamp attachable to a watercraft to be docked, an elongated pole attached at one end to the spreadable clamp, and structure attaching mechanism attached to an opposite end of the elongated pole. The spreadable clamp and the structure attaching mechanism are both designed to prevent lateral horizontal movement of the elongated pole.
Mooring device
A mooring device including: a strut with a first end and a second end; a first head; a pivot mount; a first suction cup; a rotating mount; a second head; a second suction cup; a rod; and a flotation cover sleeve. The pivot mount allows the first head to pivot about a first head axis and therefore to rotate relative to the strut. The rotating mount allows the suction cup to rotate about a second axis relative to the strut. The flotation cover sleeve having a buoyancy sufficient to render the entire apparatus positively buoyant in water.
FLOATING WINDMILL
The invention provides a floating windmill, comprising a floating element and a wind turbine. The floating windmill is distinguished in that it further comprises: a tension leg, an anchoring, a buoyancy element, a swivel and a cross bar, wherein the swivel is arranged in the buoyancy element. In operation, the floating windmill in operation is configured with the wind turbine in an upper end of the floating element extending up above the sea level, with a lower end or part of the floating element submerged in the sea, with the cross bar in one end connected to the lower part or end of the floating element and in the opposite end connected to the buoyancy element, with the buoyancy element fully submerged, preferably at safe draught depth below surface for service vessels and/or marine transport ships, with the tension leg arranged between the buoyancy element and the anchoring on the seabed. The floating windmill configured with the wind turbine in the upper end can weathervane freely around the buoyancy element, wherein in a low force condition when the forces by ocean current, wind and waves are low the floating element, the buoyancy element and the tension leg is oriented in substance in vertical direction and the cross bar is oriented in substance in horizontal direction, wherein in a high force condition when the forces by ocean current, wind and waves are high the shape of the floating element, cross bar, buoyancy element and tension leg is stretched by the forces to provide a shape like a lazy-s configuration, which change in shape and dynamic behavior reduce extreme stress levels.
Energy absorption arrangement for reducing peak mooring loads
An energy absorption arrangement for reducing peak mooring loads between a mooring structure with a turret rotatable around a vertical axis, and a floating structure is disclosed. The energy absorption arrangement comprises a rigid yoke horizontally rotatable in two axes and connected to the turret, a weighted pendulum member arranged on the end of the yoke and at least one mooring tether connected to the weighted pendulum member, and at least one energy absorption device for reducing peak mooring loads, comprising a fixed part connected to the floating structure, a movable rod and an absorption medium.
