APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE PRESERVATION, STORAGE AND/OR SHIPMENT OF LIQUID-EXUDING PRODUCTS
Apparatuses and methods are provided for storing and preserving product, such as to extend shelf life of the same. In one optional method, liquid-exuding product is placed in a product containing space of a container atop a platform of a support structure. The container can include an internal compartment having the product containing space. The structure can define the platform for supporting the product. The internal compartment can further include a reservoir, configured to retain liquid, below the platform. At least one of the platform or the support structure can be configured to direct liquid exuded from the product to the reservoir. Optionally, the reservoir comprises or contains an absorbent material for absorbing liquid in the reservoir.
PACKAGED FISH CONSUMER PRODUCT
Disclosed is a food product comprising a packaged quantity of raw fish, the fish having been combined, in the preferred embodiment, with diced vegetables, egg whites, seasonings, and other selected ingredients, thereby forming a food mixture. The entirety of the food mixture is inserted into a container, the container comprising a semi-elastic material and having the contour of an oblong, oval-shaped tubular food casing. Thereupon, the tubular food casing is sealed in an airtight manner. The tubular food casing, may also be vacuum sealed. The container may further be subjected to a process of flash freezing. The sealed tubular food casing, upon being accessed, may be thawed or reduced in temperature so as to allow a consumer to cut individually-sized sections of the tubular food casing for cooking in any selected manner, including baking, broiling, or frying.
FACILITATING INTER-SYSTEM DATA TRANSFER WITH SERIALIZED DATA OBJECTS
A computer server includes processor and memory hardware. The processor hardware executes instructions including parsing a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a first user agent to identify a first data object matching a set of characteristics and generating a new data element based on the HTTP request. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being present: extracting a first set of serialized data elements and serializing them with the new data element to generate a second data object. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being absent and a user associated with the first user agent being identifiable: determining a second set of serialized data elements based on an identity of the user, and serializing them with the new data element to generate the second data object. The instructions include transmitting an HTTP response including the second data object.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND COMPOSITIONS USING ALDEHYDE FOR INHIBITION OF MELANOSIS
Disclosed are methods and systems for inhibiting melanosis. The methods comprise the step of placing a melanosis-susceptible object, such as a crustacean or a vegetable, into a closable container or enclosure and exposing the object to aldehyde. In another aspect, disclosed are anti-melanosic articles and polymer compositions that incorporate tea (preferably green tea), matcha or epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) that function as anti-melanosic agents by releasing aldehyde.
A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PLACING ICE INTO BOXES HAVING TWO OR MORE DIFFERENT WIDTHS
A system for placing ice into boxes containing food products and the system includes: a control unit, an ice in-feed device, an ice distribution device configured for receiving ice from the ice in-feed device and for distributing the received ice into the open upper side of the boxes while the boxes pass the ice distribution device. The ice distribution device has an ice width adjuster device for interacting with the received ice prior to distributing the received ice into the open upper side of the boxes while the boxes pass the ice distribution device. The ice width adjuster device is controlled by the control unit using at least one characteristic parameter relating to the boxes including the width of the boxes as a control command in adjusting the width of the width adjuster device.
Method for inducing artificial hibernation of fish, live fish packaging method, and live fish packaging container
The present invention relates to a method for inducing artificial hibernation of fish that is capable of transporting the fish in a state of being alive for long hours. According to the present invention, a water temperature is gradually decreased from an initial water temperature to the lowest water temperature, the fish are induced to the artificial hibernation, and they are packed in a waterless state. The packing is carried out in an environment where the lowest water temperature is constantly maintained, and a refrigerant is also packed to constantly maintain a temperature in a packing container, while oxygen is continuously supplied to the live fish induced to the artificial hibernation. The fish are individually packed in the Styrofoam box, and even if an atmospheric pressure in the airport is lowered during transport of the fish, there is no danger of causing respiration of the fish to be hard due to a plastic bag damaged. Through the hibernation inducing method and packing capable of reducing stress of the fish, in addition, the fish can be alive in a waterless environment for 36 hours or more, thereby making possible to globally distribute the live fish.
EMULSION FOR IMPROVING MEAT
The present invention includes a method and method for preserving a fish or seafood product comprising: contacting an emulsion with a meat product for a time sufficient to, wherein the emulsion comprises by weight: 10% to 50% water, 0.1 to 4.0% Quillaja, 0.1% to 8% meat flavoring, 60% to 85% high oleic sunflower oil, meat seasoning, 0-2.0% salt; salt, and optionally adding one or more stabilizers; a first pasteurizing step; vacuum packing the fish or seafood in a moisture and oxygen-impermeable packaging film; a second pasteurizing step.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING COOLING TO AN INTERIOR OF A CONTAINER
Described herein is a method of providing cooling to a storage container. The method including the steps of providing a feed of a liquid and at least one pack; cooling the feed to a slurry temperature to provide a slurry feed; dividing at least one slurry portion from the slurry feed to provide at least one refrigerant portion; housing at least one refrigerant portion in a corresponding pack to provide the at least one refrigeration pack; and, enclosing the at least one refrigeration pack within the storage container to cool an interior space of the storage container.
PACKAGING
