Bundled product and system
A shippable bundled product including a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle. The bundle is packaged by a second package material. The second package material has a shrinkage factor relative to the bundle of less than zero.
WRAPPING GROUP AND WRAPPING METHOD FOR WRAPPING PRODUCTS, IN PARTICULAR EDITORIAL PRODUCTS, IN CONTAINMENT BANDS
A wrapping group for wrapping products, in containment bands, including a support structure which defines an advancing plane and with which are associated a first conveyor for conveying a plurality of products one after the other and spaced apart from each other, along the advancing plane and along an advancing direction. Each editorial product includes a book and/or a packet of sheets or of sheeted products stacked on each other. A feeding device feeds a plurality of containment bands laid in length one after the other and spaced apart from each other along a plane substantially transversal or orthogonal to the advancing direction and along a feeding direction substantially transversal or orthogonal to the advancing plane of the products.

MACHINE FOR PACKAGING GROUPS OF TISSUE PRODUCTS AND METHOD FOR CHECKING THE CONFORMITY OF LAYERS OF GROUPS OF TISSUE PRODUCTS
A machine for packaging groups of tissue products including a dosing element equipped with a plurality of passageways each configured for receiving a row formed by a predetermined number of products for defining a layer of a group of products. A detection device associated with the dosing element detects a filling parameter relative to a number, dimension and/or orientation of the products occupying the passageways and generates a signal representing the filling parameter. A processing and control unit receives the signals representing the products and processes the signals to compare with signals relating to a reference layer for deriving an acceptance condition, wherein the layer is consistent with the reference layer and suitable for the packaging, or for eliminating the layer of products released from the dosing element. A rejection system ejects the layer when it is in the eliminating condition.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHEET COIL PACKAGING
A system 100 for sheet coil packaging is provided. The system 100 preferably comprises: a sheet coil rotating arrangement 120, arranged to rotate a sheet coil 116 to enable it to be wrapped; first 112 and second 113 industrial robots, having first 108 and second 109 robot arms, arranged to wrap the sheet coil 116 using a wrapping tool 110, using sequences of the first robot arm 108 inserting the wrapping tool 110 into a central hole 118 of the sheet coil 116 and handing over the wrapping tool 110 to the second robot arm 109, and the second robot arm 109 transporting the wrapping tool 110 along the outside of the sheet coil 116 and handing it back to the first robot arm 108, as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120; and two outer edge protection mounting devices 210, 220, arranged at opposite ends of the sheet coil 116 to feed out edge protection material 250 along an outer edge of the sheet coil 116 as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120. The first 112 and second 113 industrial robots are preferably arranged to wrap the sheet coil 116 in synchronization with the feeding out of the edge protection material 250, thereby fixing the edge protection material 250 to the outer edges of the sheet coil 116 by the wrapping as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120.
Automated closing systems
Systems and methods for an automated paper cone closing machine are disclosed. A paper cone closing machine may comprise a plurality of tamping rods, a pair of plates, and a plurality of ejection rods arranged above a tray shuttle. The plurality of tamping rods for compacting a material contained in a plurality of paper rolls removeably received in the tray shuttle in a row. The pair of plates for pressing on the top of each paper roll to flatten the top of each paper roll into a flap. The plurality of ejection rods configured to press on the flap of each paper roll to press the flap into a top of each paper roll into a dimple thereby closing each paper roll.
Method and apparatus for forming a package comprising a stack of absorbent tissue paper material and a packaging
A method for forming a package including a stack of absorbent tissue paper material and a packaging, the tissue paper material in the stack forming panels having a length, and a width perpendicular to the length, the panels being piled on top of each other to form a height extending between a first end surface and a second end surface of the stack, and the packaging encircling the stack so as to maintain the stack in a compressed condition in the package, with a selected packing density D0 of the stack, and a selected packing height H0; the method including: forming the stack of absorbent tissue paper material; compressing each portion of the stack in a direction along the height to assume a temporary height H1 being c1×H0, where c1 is between 0.30 and 0.95; and applying the packaging to the stack.
