RETAINING MEMBER AND INSULATING VESSEL INCORPORATING SAME
A retaining member for use with a vacuum-insulated vessel is described. The retaining member may include a body and a deformable member. The deformable member may have a first layer and a second layer extending from the first layer to a resilient end of the second layer. The resilient end of the second layer may define an opening of the second layer and the opening of the second layer may be aligned with a first aperture of the body and a second aperture of the body, to receive and securely hold a bottle such as a wine bottle within the opening, the first aperture, and the second aperture. The second layer may be resiliently flexible between a first position and a second position of a peripheral edge of the resilient end, to receive and retain bottles having various sizes.
Tamper resistant device and methods of forming a tamper resistant device
Tamper resistant systems and devices and methods of forming the same are disclosed. A tamper resistant system includes a container having a container body defining a cavity having a threaded opening therein, a threaded closure removably covering the threaded opening, and a frangible component including a length of material having a first end and a second end. The first end is integrated with the container body such that the frangible component and the container body have a single piece construction and the frangible component extends from the container body. The second end is coupled to the threaded closure. Subsequent removal of the threaded closure from the container causes damage to at least one of the frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body. The frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body are at least partially constructed of an environmentally friendly material.
BOTTLE WITH SEPARABLE PORTIONS
A bottle can include an upper portion having a first coupling section and a lower portion having a second coupling section. The first coupling section can be configured to be removably coupled with the second coupling section for removably coupling the upper and lower portions of the bottle with one another. One of the coupling sections can include a first groove and the other one of the coupling sections can include a tongue. When the upper and lower portions of the bottle are coupled with one another, the groove engages the tongue and a seal sealingly engages one or more sealing surfaces of the upper and lower portions of the bottle.
CONTAINER FOR STORING PERISHABLE CONTENTS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A container for storing perishable contents comprising an inner storage chamber defining top and bottom ends and comprising a floor at the bottom end thereof and an inner wall extending from the floor towards an opening at the top end thereof. The floor and the inner wall defining a storage cavity therebetween. An outer wall covers the inner wall and downwardly extends from a junction therewith at or near the top end of the storage chamber towards a bottom edge thereof at or near the bottom end of the storage chamber. The outer wall and the inner wall are spaced apart to define an air channel therebetween for receiving air. The bottom edge of the outer wall and the floor of the storage chamber define an opening therebetween leading to the air channel. The air channel provides for allowing a layer of air between the outer wall and inner wall to act as insulation for the perishable contents.
INTERNALLY HOLLOW BODY, MOULD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A plastic internally hollow body has a cavity for containing liquids, solids or gases, and includes a main body shaped and having an inner surface at least partially defining the cavity. The inner surface terminates in a shaped edge that delimits a coupling aperture to the cavity. The internally hollow body includes a closure body, having an outer sealing surface suitable at least partially engaging the inner surface of the main body. The closure body at least partially closes the cavity in correspondence of the coupling aperture. The main body is joined to the closure body at least partially along the shaped edge by a joining element over-moulded to the main body and the closure body and covering the over-moulding seat resulting between the main body and the closure body. A method for making the internally hollow body over-moulds the joining element by injection moulding with an over-moulding mould.
MATTOS DETACHABLE JAR
This present invention is filled like any conventional jar. Contents enter in through the top of the jar till filled. The difference between this jar and a conventional jar is that when the product contained within this jar is used down to the halfway point, the top half of this jar is unscrewed from the bottom half of the jar. The empty top half is then disposed of, and it's lid is now placed on the remaining content filled bottom half of the jar.
Seed Container and Shell Receptacle
A seed container and shell receptacle for separately storing fresh and used seeds. The seed container and shell receptacle includes an outer container having at least one sidewall, an open upper end, and a removably securable base defining an interior outer volume. An inner container having at least one sidewall, an open top end, and an open bottom end nests within the outer container such that the base of the outer container acts as the inner container's base defining an interior inner volume. A lid is removably securable to the open upper end of the outer container and includes a first and second aperture giving access to the interior outer volume and interior inner volume, respectively. The first and second apertures can be sealed by a first and second sealing mechanism respectively.
Apparatus, system and method for changing a volume
An apparatus, a system and a method for changing a volume are provided. More specifically, a system and a method for changing a volume of a container are provided. The container has an initial height defined between a top end and a bottom end. The container has a first section, a second section and/or a third section. The second section of the container is insertable into the first section and/or the third section. The first section and/or the third section is insertable into the second section of the container. The container holds contents, such as, solids, liquids or gases. The container seals the contents from an environment external to the container. As the contents of the container are removed from the container, the environment may fill the container. The first section, the second section and/or the third section may move to change the volume of the container to remove the environment from the container.
Water bottle with dosage in a blister pack
A solid dosage preparation is provided with a bottle of water. The solid dosage preparation is contained in a safe and sanitary blister package and attached by means of a shrink band to the closure of the bottle. The shrink band provides a tamper-indicating seal for the both the bottle and blister contents. An advantage of the design is that it does not require customization of bottle and closure tooling, and thereby provides a simple and cost-effective means for combining solid and liquid materials in a unitary package. An additional advantage is the robustness of the tamper-indicating system and methodology.
Receptacle having a premolded insert with a surface irregularity
A receptacle, particularly a closed plastic ampoule produced in a blow molding method and filled in the mold, has a sleeve-type neck part (1) connected to a receptacle body (3) as an axial extension. The neck part forms a seat (11) for a pre-shaped insert (5) and is integrally molded in the mold onto a circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5). The circumferential surface (9) is equipped with at least one surface irregularity (21) having an enclosed base surface such that, due to the integral molding of the neck part (1) onto the circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5), a positive fit is present between the insert and the neck part (1). The fit forms a fixing element. The axial extension of the base surface of the surface irregularity (21) is only a small fraction of the axial extension of the circumferential surface (9).
