HEMP PAPER BAGS
The use of hemp paper for use in bags or newsprint.
PAPER SQUEEZE TUBE
A paper squeeze tube is revealed. The paper squeeze tube includes a cap, a front tube, a rear tube, and a clamping ring. The paper squeeze tube is completely made of environmentally-friendly materials to replace conventional squeeze tube made of plastic or aluminum. The cap, a front tube, and a clamping ring are made of biodegradable plant materials which is mainly formed by bamboo powder. The cap is connected to a tube body of the front tube while the rear tube is made of waterproof paper and having an upper end connected with the front tube. The front tube and the cap work together to seal the upper end of the rear tube and further form an intact and sealed paper squeeze tube. The paper squeeze tube is suitable for substances or commodities such as toothpaste, engine lubricant, oils, adhesives, and facial cleanser.
A CAPSULE HAVING A SEALING RING WITH AN INNER LIQUID-PERMEABLE COMPRESSIBLE LAYER AND OUTER LIQUID-IMPERMEABLE SHIELDING LAYER
A capsule includes a cup-like capsule body with a circumferential side wall, a transverse base wall at a first end of the side wall, and a radially outwardly protruding flange encircling the side wall at its second end, and a multi-layered sealing ring lying against the flange while encircling the side wall. The sealing ring includes a compressible layer of fibrous and/or cellulose and/or paper material and an outer shielding layer of a liquid-impermeable material, where the shielding layer is provided on an outwardly directed external surface of the sealing ring and where the shielding layer is configured for shielding the inner compressible layer of fibrous and/or cellulose and/or paper material against pressurized liquid during beverage production.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SINGLE-USE COMPOSTABLE CONTAINERS
A compostable single-use container generally includes a substantially planar lid component and a tray component. The lid component has a top surface and a bottom surface. The tray component has a generally planar top surface adhesively bonded to the bottom surface of the lid component with a sustainable adhesive, and a chamber configured to store an object. The tray component is thermoformed fiber comprising at least one of recycled cardboard, hemp straw, and cannabis straw. The lid portion comprises at least one of a natural-fiber card stock and a compostable sticker.
METHOD OF DELIVERING CHILLED GOODS
A method of delivering chilled goods in a bag (20) for transporting goods in an air environment having an air humidity; the bag having a collapsed state (20A) for enabling transportation of the bag in a substantially flat state, and an expanded state (20B) such that the collapsible bag (20), in its expanded state, provides an interior storage space for transporting goods, the collapsible bag comprising: at least one wall panel; the wall panel comprising an outer material layer; and an inner material layer; and a thermally insulating intermediate space between the outer material layer and the inner material layer; and a bag opening; wherein the bag has an open expanded state (20C) for loading and/or unloading said goods via the bag opening, and a closed expanded state (20D) such that the collapsible bag (20), in its closed expanded state (20D), provides a closed interior storage space for transporting goods; wherein the bag opening is a closable opening which, in the closed expanded state (20D) of the collapsible bag cooperates with said at least one wall panel so as to minimize or prevent exchange of air between the environment and the interior storage space.
PLUS SHAPED PACKAGING PAPER
The present disclosure relates to a plus shaped packaging paper [100]. The plus shaped packaging paper [100] includes a plus shaped first flat layer [102] of a first paper material and a plus shaped second fluted layer [104] of a second paper material. The plus shaped second fluted layer [104] is attached to the plus shaped first flat layer [102] to form the plus shaped paper packaging paper [100] having a set of adjacent sides. Further, the plus shaped packaging paper [100] includes a set of diagonal cuts [106], wherein each diagonal cut from the set of diagonal cuts [106] is present in between a corner formed by two adjacent sides of the set of adjacent sides.
BOUND PAD OF EXPANDABLE SLIT-SHEET STOCK MATERIAL
Abound pad presents a compact and convenient form of providing a two-ply construction that includes a slit-sheet stock material that may be positioned on or hung from a flat surface at the end-user's site. The bound pad includes sheets of slit-sheet stock material that are interleafed with non-die cut separator sheets. The sheets are bound together adjacent one edge, and may be weakened adjacent the bound edge to facilitate their removal from the bound pad during use. A user creates tension by pulling a free edge of the sheet of slit sheet material away from the bound edge, thereby expanding the slit material sheet to form an expanded packaging material. The user places an article on the bound pad, wraps the article in the sheets, and tears the sheets to remove the wrapped article from the bound pad.
Single-walled disposable cooler made of disposable, biodegradable and/or recyclable material
A single-walled disposable cooler can include: a body including a base and a plurality of support walls coupled to the base, the plurality of support walls and the base defining an interior cavity of the body, and the plurality of support walls extending upwardly from the base to form an opening at an upper terminus of the body in fluid communication with the interior cavity; and a lid configured to reversibly couple with the body, the lid shaped to cover the opening of the body. The body can be made entirely of a pulp-based material.
ADDITIVE APPLICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PADDED MAILERS
An additive application system utilized to form a padded mailer is provided, along with corresponding methods and systems. The system applies an additive liquid to a portion of a first web that, along with a second web, forms a panel of the padded mailer. After contact occurs, an internal pouch for the panel is formed. When the additive liquid and expandable adhesive positioned within the internal pouch are energized via an oven, the expandable adhesive expands in thickness within the internal pouch to form padding for the panel. Utilizing additive liquid enables use of less expandable adhesive while maintaining a desired speed of operation of the oven to still produce a desired thickness for the padding. Cooling may be applied after expansion in the oven to retain thickness expansion in the padding.
SACK FOR MAILING OR DUNNAGE
A sack for mailing at least one item or for dunnage is provided. The sack is formed by two facing panels sealed along a perimeter. Each panel is at least one-ply and the ply has a layer of paper having a grammage from 35 to 450 g/m.sup.2 and a film of an extruded or laminated polymer covering one face of the layer of paper.
