FILM ROLL PACKAGE FOR TRANSPORTATION
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a film roll package that hardly suffers from deformation of a paper box owing to moisture condensation in a container, or hardly suffers from deformation of a paper core for the film roll owing to impact, etc., upon transportation thereof which tends to be caused by deterioration in strength of the paper core for the film roll owing to absorption of moisture. The present invention relates to a film roll package for transportation comprising a film roll comprising a paper core and a plastic film wound around the paper core, a paper box accommodating the film roll therein which is rested on a pallet, plastic films or sheets respectively disposed on upper and lower side surfaces of the paper box, each of the plastic films or sheets having a longitudinal dimension and a lateral dimension which are longer than a longitudinal dimension and a lateral dimension of the upper or lower side surface of the paper box, respectively, and a thickness of 5 to 500 μm, and a stretched film wound over side surfaces of the paper box and the pallet so as to cover 20 to 90% of a height of a side surface of the pallet to fix the paper box onto the pallet.
Bundle of tubular and/or rod shaped glass articles, method for its fabrication as well as for unpacking said bundle
A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart. The thread-like element has a cross section between at least 0.25 mm and at most 4.0 mm.
Measuring system and method for palletized loads
A measuring system associable with a group of products wrappable with a plastic film to form a palletized load. The system includes a supporting frame provided with a supporting plane for the group, first and second detecting modules housed inside the supporting frame and provided with first and second sensor units to detect and measure first and second physical quantities acting on the palletized load when it is moved and/or transported, a processing module having first and second computing units and first and second memory units positioned on the supporting plane, inserted among the products and having dimensions and weight comparable to that of one of the products. The first and second computing units, first and second memory units and first and second detecting modules form first and second measurement chains of the first and second physical quantities.
SHOCK-ABSORBING STRUCTURE AND TRANSPORTATION PALLET
A shock-absorbing structure includes an underlay placed on a base, and a cushioning member disposed on the underlay. The underlay includes at least one positioning portion that includes a slope raised in a position inclined with respect to another area of the positioning portion and fixes the cushioning member in position, and a support portion that supports the slope in an obliquely raised position. The cushioning member includes at least one hollow that receives the positioning portion.
RECONDITIONED OR INFUSED FLUID CONTAINERS AND RELATED METHODS
The invention features a method of reconditioning a fluid container including heating for at least one cycle the fluid container to a select temperature for a select time duration; sealing for at least one cycle the fluid container; cooling for at least one cycle the fluid container to a select vacuum for a select time duration in an interior of the fluid container; wherein the select vacuum and the select time duration of the cooling step are selected to draw substantially a fluid from at least one of a pore, a cell and a fiber of the fluid container to a surface of the fluid container. The invention also features methods of infusing an infusion agent into a reconditioned fluid container, and methods for preparing construction materials, devices adapted for the construction material preparation methods, and construction materials including wood reconditioned and prepared in accordance with the methods of the invention.
Structural elements and assemblies for construction material packaging
Disclosed is stack support assembly. The stack support assembly includes at least one binding element to press and bind at least one support leg to a material stack; and at least one elongated and partially hollow support leg composed of a shaped polymer. The elongated and partially hollow support leg includes vertically oriented side walls connected to one another with a repeating pattern of interconnect structures, thereby forming hollowed channels extending between a top plane and a bottom plane of the support leg.
Pallet system for railings
A pallet system for shipping and storage of railing segments. The pallet system captures the corners of a plurality of railing segments, thereby diminishing the weight, footprint, and materials of construction requirements. In some embodiments, a plurality of the pallet systems can be stacked. The diminished size of the pallet system components after removal of the railing segments can be returned to the shipper in a refund exchange arrangement. In some embodiments, the plurality of railing segments is maintained in a fixed relationship using a spacer that is inserted laterally through the plurality of railing segments.
Platform Storage Security System
The Platform Storage Security System is an apparatus comprising a set of tamper resistant metal pallet securing clamps designed to fit the edges or sides of palletized materials which are connected to and secured to each other across the surface of said palletized materials so as to enable the securing of said palletized materials thereby preventing or resisting the theft of the secured materials.
