Drinks pouch
A fully sealed pouch containing a drink is provided with a straw within the pouch accessible to allow a user to draw drink from the pouch. The pouch defines a top portion, a bottom portion, and respective side edges interconnecting the top portion and the bottom portion. A corner portion is defined between the top portion and one side edge, the corner portion being openable by a user to access the straw. The pouch forms a closed cavity containing the drink, the cavity being defined by the top portion, the bottom portion, and side edges and by at least one wall defining a front face and a rear face for the cavity. The front and rear faces are connected together in the top portion. The front and rear faces are continuous with each other at, or are connected along, the other of the side edges. The front and rear faces are connected, optionally via a gusset, to provide the bottom portion. The one side edge is formed by a first heat seal connecting the front and rear faces; and a second heat seal connects the front and rear faces and extends in an incomplete fashion from the top portion to the bottom portion, being spaced inboard of the first heat seal. The second heat seal divides the interior of the cavity into major and minor portions interconnected so that drink may flow between them, the minor portion lying between the first and second heat seals, and the straw being located within this minor portion. A number of different ways are described in which the corner portion may be opened along a line of weakness formed in the pouch and extending generally parallel to the bottom portion from the first heat seal to and ending at the second heat seal.
CONTAINER CLOSURE
The invention relates to a container produced from a plastic material in extrusion blow molds, comprising a container body, having a first end, and a second end substantially opposite the first end, a first and second sealing surface formed on the inner wall of the first end, wherein the first and second sealing surfaces surround a filling opening and can be connected to one another in a fluid-tight manner, and a container base having a standing surface formed at the second end. A pouring element is formed on the container at the first end below the first and second sealing surfaces.
Package having a spout reservoir/retaining feature
A package designed to prevent the leakage of its contents and to capture any leaked contents within a package reservoir, while permitting the package to be sealed for later access to the contents of the package.
PACKAGE HAVING A SPOUT RESERVOIR/RETAINING FEATURE
A package designed to prevent the leakage of its contents and to capture any leaked contents within a package reservoir, while permitting the package to be sealed for later access to the contents of the package.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISTRIBUTING AND DISPENSING PERSONAL SERVINGS OF CHOCOLATE
A multilayered, flexible, and generally flat pouch for transporting and dispensing chocolate, including first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions sealed together to yield a deformable generally rectangular fluid-tight sachet defining an internal volume and separating the internal volume from an external environment. The sachet further defines a top end, an oppositely disposed bottom end, and first and second sides extending therebetween. An untempered chocolate portion is contained within the internal volume. A tear notch is formed through at least one side and disposed adjacent the top end and a weakened tear strip extends between the second side and the bottom end. The sachet is substantially fluid-tight, and first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions each further comprise an outer layer, an inner high-slip layer, a printable binding layer disposed between the inner and outer layers, and a metal vapor barrier layer disposed between the inner and outer layers. When actuated, the first weakened tear strip produces a corner pour spout through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet. When actuated, the second weakened tear strip produces a central aperture through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet.
LAMINATE, PACKAGING BAG, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided is a laminate that is excellent in heat sealing properties and is suitable for reuse. The laminate includes: a first layer having a melting point of Tm.sub.1 and containing a first polyethylene alone as a resin; and a second layer having a melting point of Tm.sub.2 and containing a second polyethylene alone as a resin, where: the first layer and the second layer are disposed respectively as outermost surfaces of the laminate; and Tm.sub.1−Tm.sub.2≥24.0° C. is satisfied.
PACKAGED ARTICLE
A packaged article includes a packing bag which includes a welded portion that hermetically seals a container compartment in which a fluid content is contained. The welded portion includes a weak sealant section configured to be parted when the container compartment is pressed to communicate the container compartment and the exterior of the packing bag. A strong sealant section is configured to maintain a welded state at the time when the weak sealant section is parted. The container compartment includes a primary container section and a secondary container section. The secondary container section includes a narrow neck that is narrower than the primary container section in a width-wise direction, which corresponds to a direction in which the weak sealant section extends. The secondary container section is in communication with the primary container section at the narrow neck. The secondary container section is located adjacent to the weak sealant section.
PACKAGING SACHET
The present invention relates to a packaging sachet for liquid or pasty consumer products, which sachet allows dipping objects in the packaging sachet or squeezing the product out of the packaging sachet. The packaging sachet comprises a bottom face, a front face, and two lateral faces, wherein the bottom face and the front face each have the shape of a triangle, the triangles sharing their base lines, and wherein a seal rim joins the ends of the lateral faces which are not adjacent to the front or bottom face, wherein the seal rim comprises a curved area, or wherein the seal rim comprises at least one angle.
Hand Sanitizer Pouch Assembly
A hand sanitizer pouch assembly includes a box that has a dispensing chute integrated therein. A plurality of pouches is each stored in the box. Each of the pouches is individually removable from the dispensing chute in the box and each of the pouches can be individually handled by a respective user to inhibiting contact transmission of bacteria or viruses between a plurality of users. Each of the pouches stores a fluid hand sanitizer and each of the pouches is comprised of a rippable material. In this way a respective one of the pouches can be ripped open by a user thereby facilitating the hand sanitizer to be released from the respective pouch for sanitizing the user's hands.
SHEET MATERIAL CONTAINER
The present invention provides a sheet material container being made of a sheet material and including a body portion and a bottom portion that is to be disposed on a placement surface, and the sheet material including a plurality of film layers. A body portion sheet that constitutes the body portion includes a bonding portion where peripheral edge portions of the sheet materials are bonded. In a bottom surface sheet that constitutes the bottom portion, a non-adhesive region is provided in the plurality of film layers. The non-adhesive region forms a bottom filler-filled portion. The bottom filler-filled portion extends annularly around a non-filled portion, and includes at least three protruding leg portions that are to be placed on the placement surface so as to allow the container to stand by itself. The protruding leg portions protrude toward the placement surface past other portions in the bottom filler-filled portion due a leg forming portion.
