Soft-sided bulk material containers with hold-ins
A system, method and apparatus for transferring bulk material for transport, the method includes placing a first quantity of bulk material in a soft-sided bulk material container, extending a first hold-in across the container from a first side of the container to a second location, the second location being substantially toward a second side of the container, wherein the first hold-in is secured to the first side of the container, securing the first hold-in to the second location and placing a second quantity of bulk material in the container, the second quantity covering the first hold-in and securing the first hold-in to the second location with a weight of the second quantity of bulk material.
Flexible container liner wringing device and liner
A liner L has a liner body (11) with a front wall (12), rear wall (16), bottom wall (13), a top wall (14). The top wall also includes a tubular excess liner material or chute (19) located close to the rear wall and which includes a filling fitment (20) with a fitment cap (21). The liner also has a cylindrical, hose content inlet/outlet port or bottom fitment (23). The liner may include a gap-filler or filler strip (70) of foam material extending outwardly from a position closely adjacent the outlet fitment. The filler strip is mounted to the front wall directly over and closely adjacent the outlet fitment. The filler strip may taper so that at least a majority of the strip's longitudinal length or height so as to increase in its lateral width as it approaches the outlet fitment, thereby increasing the material volume of strip material.

FLEXIBLE CONTAINER LINER WRINGING DEVICE AND LINER
A liner (L) has a liner body (11) with a front wall (12), rear wall (16), bottom wall (13), a top wall (14). The top wall also includes a tubular excess liner material or chute (19) located close to the rear wall and which includes a filling fitment (20) with a fitment cap (21). The liner also has a inlet/outlet port or bottom fitment (23). The liner may include a gap-filler or filler strip (70) of foam material extending outwardly from a position closely adjacent the outlet fitment. The chute or filling fitment is positioned on the top wall closely adjacent the rear wall and diagonally opposite the bottom fitment to provide a generally equal run of material in either direction between the top fitment and the bottom fitment.
Flexible storage device for packaging particulate solid substances or liquids, method for manufacturing this device and packaging method using this device
A flexible storage device for packaging particulate solid substances or liquids, having a bottom and lateral walls defining a storage volume, includes: hanging loops toward the top intended for lifting an assembly including: a flexible external wrapper forming at least the four lateral walls of the storage volume, a flexible tubular internal wrapper secured to the four lateral walls of the external wrapper, dividing the storage volume into five vertical compartments including a central compartment defined by the interior volume of the internal wrapper, and four peripheral compartments defined between the lateral walls of the external wrapper and the lateral walls of the internal wrapper. The internal wrapper has an upper edge defining the upper mouth of the central compartment and a lower edge defining the lower mouth of the central compartment. The upper edge of the internal wrapper is at or below the upper edge of the lateral walls.
Bag for powdery bulk materials
The invention is directed to a bag for transporting and handling powdery bulk materials, especially inorganic or organic pigments. Further, the present invention relates to a method for opening the tubular drain of such a bag, as well as to the use of the bag for transporting and handling powdery bulk materials.
Bulk bag bottom and discharge assembly including a reinforcer
A bottom and discharge assembly for a flexible fabric bulk bag of the type having heat sealed joints includes a piece of reinforcing fabric positioned under a heat sealed joint of a bottom portion and a discharge tube, around a periphery of a discharge tube opening and bottom opening that are each substantially square, wherein the reinforcing fabric prevents bag failure at or about at corners of the bottom opening and discharge tube opening. The assembly can be formed by overlapping the reinforcing fabric, discharge tube, and bottom portion so that the bottom is heat sealed to both a portion of the discharge tube fabric and a portion of the reinforcing fabric and wherein a portion of the reinforcing fabric is under the discharge tube and bottom joint, and wherein the discharge tube fabric and reinforcing fabric are not joined together.
Flexible large container with a seam-free useful space
A flexible large container for transporting and storing a filling product. The container has a usable space formed by top, bottom, and side walls that are constructed from a plurality of fabric sheets. The portions of the fabric sheets that enclose the usable space are welded together to provide a stitchless usable space. Upper portions of the sidewalls extend upward beyond the usable space to form a hem. Lift loops that enable the large container to be lifted by mechanical means are sewn onto the hem. Thus, the usable space remains stitchless, i.e., without stitch holes, yet the lift loops are stitched to the hem.
System supporting filling and handling bulk bag apparatus containing torrefied materials
A container includes a multilayered composite film combination forming a bag defining a product fill opening. The multilayered composite film combination includes first and second polymer film inner and outer layers each having vacuum holding properties, and a third polymer film disposed between the first and second polymer films. The third polymer film has oxygen barrier properties. Product is packed into the container by coupling a fill spout of the container with a fill tube of a product filling apparatus, and oxygen is drawn from an inner cavity of the container. Fluidized product entrained in nitrogen and/or carbon dioxide gas is flowed through the fill spout of the container, and nitrogen is added into the inner cavity through the fill spout of the container. The fill spout of the container is sealed while a negative pressure is drawn within the inner cavity thereby immobilizing the product within the container.
