Interlocking Wear-Resistant Panel System
A wear panel for mining and materials handling applications is provided. The wear panel includes a housing matrix (1) with a top surface (2), a bottom surface (3) opposite the top surface (2) and at least one cavity (4) with cavity walls (5). The cavity (4) extends through the top surface (2) and the bottom surface (3). The wear panel also includes at least one wear-resistant member (6) with a preformed shape. The at least one wear-resistant member (6) has a top surface (7) and a bottom surface (8) opposite the top surface (7). The wear-resistant members (6) are disposed in the cavity (4) and are locked into place by their preformed shape and the cavity walls (5).
Lining method and lining
A lining method includes fixing a backing strip in a frame shape to a concrete surface of already-placed concrete so that the backing strip protrudes from the concrete surface; disposing a filler inside a frame of the backing strip; making edges of a plurality of lining plates butt against each other at a position of the backing strip to cover the backing strip and the concrete surface; and joining the edges of the lining plates by seal welding.
Vehicle frame and cargo bay liner
A vehicle and liner assembly that includes a recreational vehicle having a housing, a front end, a rear end, a top, a bottom, and a pair of sidewalls. A frame assembly is provided wherein, the housing is mounted on and supported by the frame assembly. The liner is attached to the frame assembly and covers at least a substantial portion of the bottom of the housing. The liner has a first face having projections extending therefrom and a second face having openings therein. The openings coincide with and extend into corresponding projections on the first face. In another embodiment of the invention, a trailer and liner combination, is provided that includes a vehicle having a housing with a front end, a rear end, a top, a bottom, a pair of sidewalls, and a door providing access to a cargo area defined by the housing.
ADJUSTABLE MAGNETIC COUPLER
Provided is an adjustable magnetic coupler 10 for operatively and removably attaching cladding 20 to a ferromagnetic surface 12.5, the coupler 10 including a first body 12 including a first magnetised element 12.3 for attaching to the ferromagnetic surface 12.5, the first body 12 operatively associated with a second body 14 which includes a second magnetised element 14.4 configured for magnetically attaching to an article of cladding 20 to be attached to the ferromagnetic surface 12.5 via the coupler 10. Also included is an adjustor 16 for selectively adjusting the distance between the first and second elements to adjust a separation between said cladding and the ferromagnetic surface.
Modular stackable wear-resistant panel system
A stackable wear panel (1) for use within a modular stackable wear-resistant panel system (11) is configured to be removably affixed to a wall (10A) or surface of equipment (10) to be protected. The stackable wear panel (1) is also configured to be alternatively removably affixed to a top surface (2A) of another stackable wear panel (1) within a stacked wear panel arrangement (1, 1). The stackable wear panel (1) is formed by a matrix (2) having a top surface (2A), a bottom surface (2B) opposite said top surface (2) and a central bore (4) extending through the top (2A) and bottom (2B) surfaces. The central bore (4) is configured to receive either one of a fastener (5) or a spacing adapter (6) therein, and/or support a portion (5A, 5B) of the fastener (5) or a lower outer surface portion (6E) of the spacing adapter (6).
Demountable silo
The present invention is directed generally to a demountable silo (10) comprising a series of interconnected silo modules (12A to 12F) constructed in accordance with a preferred embodiment of this invention. The silo modules such as (12A) are each of a substantially identical configuration and interconnected in a side-by-side and end-to-end relationship. The demountable silo (10) is designed to contain particulate material and configured depending on the nature of the material and its storage requirements. It will be appreciated that the provision of multiple silo modules such as (12A to 12F) together contains significantly more particulate material in a heap than a single silo module. The maximum storage capacity for the demountable silo (10) is determined largely by the angle of repose of the heaped particulate material.
Set of lining plates made of radial tires and a method for manufacturing lining plates made of radial tires
Disclosed is a set of lining plates made of radial tires to protect pieces of equipment from abrasion and to absorb impacts where said set of lining plates comprises a plurality of lining plates made of radial tires that are laid out next to each other in order to line the surface of a given equipment. The lining plates that make up the set are fitted with tongues and grooves so as to allow them to be joined together and make it possible for a perfect fixation through special hook-type screws in order to secure an effective sealing of the equipment surface on which said plates were installed, thus preventing any material from entering the space between the lining plates. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the lining plates of the set using radial tires.
