Integrated pipe handling method for well completion and production
A novel integrated pipe handling system and method is provided wherein one or more pipe tubs having lift arms can be loaded with pipe and transported to a drill site where it may be deployed next to a pipe handling trailer. The pipe tubs and pipe handling trailer are arranged such that when the lift arms are raised, pipes may roll from a tub to the trailer, where a pipe is transferred to an angularly adjustable trough on the trailer. The trough may be raised to a preselected position and the pipe moved along the trough by a skate such that the pipe is available to be transferred from the pipe handling trailer to a drilling rig. The process may be reversed to remove pipe from the drilling rig. A control system, which may be operated in a manual or automated mode, is used to operate the integrated system using information about each pipe joint recorded during the loading process.
COMPONENT FEEDING SYSTEM
A system for singulating a component comprises a hopper, a singulating blade, and an actuator. The hopper further comprises a back wall, a hopper wall, a singulating wall, and a feed surface, the back wall rigidly connected to both the hopper wall and the singulating wall. The singulating blade is configured to slide between the hopper wall and the singulating wall between a first position and a second position. An actuator is configured to move the singulating blade between the first position and the second position so as to selectively carry a component to a component pocket defined by the singulating wall.
Apparatus and method to supply bars
Apparatus to supply bars which includes a work plane on which to position a bundle of said bars and a removal device configured to remove at least one bar from said work plane in order to transfer it to a destination station. The supply apparatus includes a plurality of containing units each configured to house a respective bundle of a determinate type of bar.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR MODULAR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
A modular inventory management system (10) or device is included. A method of using a monitoring and managing inventory using a modular inventory management system (10) or device is also included.
System for conveying and stowing elongated material
A rack corresponding a vehicle having matching connectors: a plurality of modular shelves having two longitudinal sides, the modular shelves are configured to be mounted one on top of the other, wherein each modular shelf of the plurality of modular shelves comprising: a frame having a plurality of struts configured for mounting a modular shelf one on top of the other, and wherein at least a portion of the struts have bottom with fittings that comply with the matching connectors a guardrail on each longitudinal side of the frame wherein at least one of the guardrails is capable of moving between an upright position and a horizontal position. a drawer capable of moving on top of the frame through at least one of the longitudinal sides of the modular shelf.
Pass-under lumber transfer methods and systems
A lumber transfer system includes an overhead track and a lower conveyor for retrieving and delivering boards from multiple racks of lumber to a platform leading to a saw. In some examples of operation, a board picker travels along the track to pick up a chosen board from one of the racks. The board picker then releases the board onto the conveyor. The conveyor conveys the board underneath the other racks and delivers the board to the saw feed platform. While the conveyor is conveying the board toward the saw feed platform, the board picker returns to the racks for another board. The board picker traveling along the track and handling boards while the conveyor delivers them to the saw saves production time and increases throughput.
STORAGE APPARATUS
An apparatus (10, 60) for storage of elongate elements, such as pipes, tubes and conduits. The apparatus (10, 60) includes a frame (12) that supports a plurality of trays (15, 63). The trays (15, 63) are arranged in two vertical columns of storage positions, except for the trays located at the top or bottom of the apparatus as they are moved about sprockets (71, 72) by a drive motor (73). Each tray (15, 63) is configured to support a plurality of elongate items. The trays (15, 63, which may embodied as cradles or racks, may be moved between a storage position and an access position, wherein in the access position, the elongate items can be accessed from substantially vertically above the tray (15, 63).
STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, HIGH-BAY WAREHOUSE, STORAGE METHOD AND RETRIEVAL METHOD
A storage and retrieval system for a high-bay warehouse comprising a superordinate control computer having a communication module and at least two self-driving gangway vehicles which are non-mechanically interlinked to each other. A control apparatus with a communication apparatus, of which at least one of the communication apparatuses is formed to bidirectionally communicate with the communication module of the superordinate control computer. The control apparatus of the gangway vehicles prompts a drive apparatus of the gangway vehicles to drive into or drive out of warehouse gangways the high-bay warehouse. A measurement of the path covered by the respective gangway vehicle is carried out by a path measurement apparatus that is in a communication connection with the control apparatus. The control apparatus of the gangway vehicles is designed to prompt a lifting apparatus of the gangway vehicles to adjust a load receiver between a raised and a lowered position.
STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM
A storage and retrieval system for a high-bay warehouse comprising at least two self-propelling shuttle vehicles, which comprise a lifting device and are set up to move into and out of storage channels of the high-bay warehouse in order to deliver a loading unit to a storage space of the high-bay warehouse or to pick up a loading unit from a storage space. A transport platform in a rack aisle of the high-bay warehouse which is self-propelled or carried in a direction of travel, which is set up to receive at least two of the shuttle vehicles in a row oriented perpendicularly with respect to the direction of travel arranged one behind the other. A first shuttle vehicle is set up to lift, transport and set down a loading unit completely automatically, and wherein the first shuttle vehicle and a second shuttle vehicle are set up only at a distance from one another to lift, synchronously transport and set down part of a joint loading unit.
