VERTICAL SEQUENCER FOR PRODUCT ORDER FULFILLMENT
A product order fulfillment system including a multi-level transport system and a lifting transport system. Each level of the multi-level transport system having a corresponding independent asynchronous level transport system separate and distinct from the asynchronous level transport system corresponding to each other level of the multi-level transport system. Each independent lift axis of the lifting transport system being configured to independently hold at least one case and being communicably coupled to each asynchronous level transport system so as to provide for exchange of the at least one case between each asynchronous level transport system and each independent lift axis. Each independent lift axis is communicably coupled to each other independent lift axis of the more than one lift axis and forms a common output of mixed cases so as to create an ordered sequence of mixed cases in accordance to a predetermined case out ordered sequence.
Article Transport Facility
A control system performs pre-urging to control a guide wheel driver to urge a guide wheel from a first position toward a second position when the guide wheel in a first width direction in a first guide section is in contact with a first side surface of a guide rail before entering an unguided section. The control system continuously performing the pre-urging allows the guide wheel to pass through the unguided section to move the guide wheel from the first position to the second position in the unguided section, and places the guide wheel in a second width direction in a second guide section into contact with a second side surface of the guide rail.

RIGHT ANGLE TRANSFER DEVICE
A right angle transfer device has a conveying surface defined by a plurality of conveying members that are driven to convey objects in a conveyance direction. A diverting conveying member is mounted to a frame and is driven to divert objects in a direction angled away from the conveyance direction. A lift drive rotates a cam to move a bar in a substantially horizontal direction. The movement of the bar causes a frame link connected to the bar and the frame to raise and lower the frame. Once the frame has been moved upward to a sufficient extent, the diverting conveying member will be raised above the conveying members to come into contact with the object to thereby move and divert the object away from the conveyance direction.
Two-stage picking by means of sorter having high-dynamic sorter trays
A storage and order-picking system including a warehouse, wherein the warehouse includes a storage module formed by two racks including one rack aisle therebetween; separation stations associated with the storage module, each separation station having associated therewith a respective pick up location; separate conveying systems for feeding storage containers from the warehouse to the pick up locations of the separation stations, respectively; and a robot arranged between the separate conveyors such that the robot can pick up during one movement cycle from each of the separate conveying systems respectively one article and can deliver between the corresponding article pick up locations one article which has already been picked up to a deposition location.
STORAGE DEVICE FOR STORING TRANSPORT UNITS
A storage device (1′) for storing transport units (3′) includes a number of transport units (3′), a number of storage lines (12a′-12g′) which are configured to store transport units (3′), a feeding line (11′) which is connected by a respective first switch point (111′) to the storage lines (12a′-12g′), a measuring device (15′) which is arranged on the feeding line (11′) and which is configured to determine a respective extent of a transport unit (3′), and a controller (16′) which is connected to the measuring device (15′) and to the first switch pointes (111′) and which is configured to select a storage line (12a′-12g′) for storing the transport unit (3′) on the basis of the extent of the transport unit (3′) determined by the measuring device (15′).
MAGNETIC TRAY ROUTER
A tray shuttle and a tray conveyor using the tray shuttle to route magnetic conveyor trays from one conveyor section to another. The trays and the shuttles are propelled by linear-motor stators that produce electromagnetic flux waves that interact with the magnetic fields of permanent-magnet arrays in movers in each tray. Each shuttle has a main holder mover and one or more other movers connected to a linkage that operates one or more pushers that push trays off a tray holder on the shuttles.
Linear conveyor system, a control method for a linear conveyor system, a control program for a linear conveyor system and a recording medium
The transfer operation of moving the slider between one fixed linear module and the movable linear module while locating the movable linear module in the facing range facing toward the one fixed linear module, out of the plurality of linear modules arranged in parallel, is performed. At this time, a judgement process of judging whether or not the coordinate axis of the one fixed linear module and the coordinate axis of the movable linear module are continuous is performed. If it is judged that the coordinate axes are not continuous, the transfer operation is performed while the speed control is executed for the slider. Thus, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a situation where the transfer operation of moving the slider between the movable linear modules cannot be performed due to the discontinuity of the coordinate axes respectively set for the movable linear modules.
BUFFER SORT
A sorting system having a buffer interposable between a discharge, such as a chute, supplying packages and multiple destination receptacles, such as wheeled bins. The buffer temporarily accumulates packages to ensure correct package delivery to assigned destination receptacles during overflow conditions. The buffer may be realized in various ways that operate in horizontal, vertical, or inclined planes.
Sorter
A sorter for sorting out discrete products includes an arrangement of adjacent sorting fingers. The sorting fingers, depending on pivoted positions, open a sorting gap in a conveying path for bad products to be sorted out or else close the sorting gap in order to support the further conveying of good products.
