Elevator systems and methods are provided. The systems include an elevator car including an elevator car door interlock device operable to open and close elevator car doors and a plurality of landing doors located at landings, each landing door including a landing door interlock device operable to open and close a respective landing door. Each landing door interlock device is engageable by the elevator car door interlock device to operate the elevator doors. An elevator component inspection system having a detector to monitor the interlock devices obtains inspection data associated with the interlock devices. A control unit is configured to analyze the inspection data. The component inspection system captures images of the interlock devices using the detector, performs a database inquiry comparing the captured image against a database of interlock device states, and determines a state of the interlock devices.

Elevator systems and methods are provided. An access door arrangement of an elevator shaft, wherein at least one elevator car is moving, includes a door lock, whereby in connection with the door lock a reset switch of an inspection mode resetting device is located, whereby the door lock has a lock part movable between a lock position and an open position and whereby the reset switch is integrated in said door lock to be operated by the movement of the movable lock part or a related movable part. This solution allows an easy resetting of the inspection mode of the elevator.

Provided is a door lock operation member for elevator door lock device for operating an elevator door lock device, the elevator door lock device including an interlock and a car door lock, the interlock being configured to lock the movement of a landing door in the opening direction when the landing door is in a closed state, the car door lock being configured to lock the movement of a car door in the opening direction when the car door is in a closed state. The door lock operation member further includes a lock operation part configured to actuate both the interlock and the car door lock in association with movements of the car door in the opening direction and in the closing direction.

Provided is a door lock operation member for elevator door lock device for operating an elevator door lock device, the elevator door lock device including an interlock and a car door lock, the interlock being configured to lock the movement of a landing door in the opening direction when the landing door is in a closed state, the car door lock being configured to lock the movement of a car door in the opening direction when the car door is in a closed state. The door lock operation member further includes a lock operation part configured to actuate both the interlock and the car door lock in association with movements of the car door in the opening direction and in the closing direction.

Provided is a door engagement device including an engaging body including an engaging part, the engaging part being configured to engage with an engaged part provided on a driven door that is either one of the landing door and the car door of an elevator, and transmit a driving force that moves a driving door in an opening and closing direction to the driven door, the driving door being the remaining one of the landing door and the car door; and a base that is connected to the driving door and the engaging body. The position of the engaging part is changeable relative to the base in an aligning direction, in which the landing door and the car door align with each other when the landing and car doors are opened and closed.

Provided is a door engagement device including an engaging body including an engaging part, the engaging part being configured to engage with an engaged part provided on a driven door that is either one of the landing door and the car door of an elevator, and transmit a driving force that moves a driving door in an opening and closing direction to the driven door, the driving door being the remaining one of the landing door and the car door; and a base that is connected to the driving door and the engaging body. The position of the engaging part is changeable relative to the base in an aligning direction, in which the landing door and the car door align with each other when the landing and car doors are opened and closed.

An elevator door interlock assembly and an elevator system. The elevator door interlock assembly includes: a first base plate on which a common rotating shaft is arranged; a first hanging wheel, which is pivotally connected to the first base plate through the common rotating shaft and guides the first base plate to reciprocate in an opening and closing direction of an elevator door; and a first lock arm, a middle part of which is pivotally connected to the first base plate through the common rotating shaft, so as to rotate between a locked position and a released position when the elevator door is closed.

An illustrative example elevator door interlock includes a base, a plurality of interlock bumpers supported on the base, and a latch supported on the base for movement relative to the base between a door locking position and a released position. The plurality of interlock bumpers are supported on the base with a gap between the plurality of interlock bumpers. Each of the interlock bumpers includes a contact surface configured to contact at least one vane supported on an elevator car door. Each of the interlock bumpers remains rotationally fixed relative to the base. The latch includes a latch bumper that is situated relative to the gap such that the at least one vane contacts the latch bumper and urges the latch into the released position when the at least one vane is at least partially in the gap.

An illustrative example elevator door interlock includes a base, a plurality of interlock bumpers supported on the base, and a latch supported on the base for movement relative to the base between a door locking position and a released position. The plurality of interlock bumpers are supported on the base with a gap between the plurality of interlock bumpers. Each of the interlock bumpers includes a contact surface configured to contact at least one vane supported on an elevator car door. Each of the interlock bumpers remains rotationally fixed relative to the base. The latch includes a latch bumper that is situated relative to the gap such that the at least one vane contacts the latch bumper and urges the latch into the released position when the at least one vane is at least partially in the gap.
