CRANE COMPRISING COUNTERJIB, AND METHOD FOR ERECTING THE COUNTERJIB
This invention relates to a crane in particular a mobile crane or crawler crane, comprising a main boom and a counter-boom as well asan erecting trestle arranged on the uppercarriage of the crane, which is connected to a guying of the counter-boom via a cable adjuster, wherein there is provided at least one pressure prop articulated to the counter-boom or on the pivot axis of the counter-boom in order to temporarily receive the cable adjuster and/or the guying, wherein the receiving positionpoint of the pressure prop is designed such that the cable adjuster or guying can lift off from the pressure prop on its own at a particular erecting angle of the counter-boom.

Crane with an erecting trestle
The present invention relates to a crane, in particular a deck crane, which comprises a boom which is erectable in its height about an axis of rotation, and an erecting trestle for deflecting a rope of a retracting mechanism in order to erect the boom. The invention is characterized in that the erecting trestle is erectable in its height, and the erecting trestle comprises a pull bar which includes a rotary joint in order to rotate a first portion of the pull bar with respect to a second portion of the pull bar.

Method for operating a crane, and crane
A crane, in particular a mobile crane, includes a crane jib which can be moved about a substantially horizontal luffing axis, and a tensioning device for the crane jib. The tensioning device includes two pendants which run from the jib tip to the jib base of the crane jib and tensioning posts each tensioning a respective one of the pendants relative to the crane jib in a triangular configuration. In order to operate the crane, a luffing angle of the crane jib about the luffing axis is measured or recorded, and a spread angle between the tensioning posts while the crane jib is being used is modified depending on the luffing angle.
CARGO CRANE, CARGO-CRANE SWING PREVENTION METHOD, AND CARGO CONVEYANCE METHOD
A cargo crane including an arm turning mechanism that turns a crane arm; an arm luffing mechanism that adjusts the luffing angle; an arm extension and contraction mechanism that adjusts the arm length; and a control device that calculates a trajectory in which a suspended cargo is conveyed, and that controls the mechanisms. The control device calculates the trajectory so as to be a straight line trajectory as viewed from at least the vertical direction; calculates a turning angle θ, a luffing angle φ, and an arm length L so as to cause the trajectory to be the straight line trajectory by using the cargo start position, the cargo target position, a maximum speed v.sub.max, a suspended cargo swing cycle T, and a start-up time T.sub.1; and controls the mechanisms so as to achieve the calculated turning angle θ, luffing angle φ, and arm length L.
When performing the conveyance from an arbitrary cargo start position to an arbitrary cargo target position, it is possible to control swing prevention without constraint condition and with a simple control system. There is provided a cargo crane including an arm turning mechanism (4) that turns a crane arm (2); an arm luffing mechanism (3) that adjusts the luffing angle; an arm extension and contraction mechanism (5) that adjusts the arm length; and a control device that calculates a trajectory in which a suspended cargo (7) is conveyed, and that controls the arm turning mechanism (4), the arm luffing mechanism (3), and the arm extension and contraction mechanism (5). The control device calculates the trajectory so as to be a straight line trajectory as viewed from at least the vertical direction, according to the cargo start position and the cargo target position; calculates a turning angle θ, a luffing angle φ, and an arm length L so as to cause the trajectory to be the straight line trajectory by using the cargo start position, the cargo target position, a maximum speed v.sub.max, a suspended cargo swing cycle T, and a start-up time T.sub.1; and controls the arm turning mechanism (4), the arm luffing mechanism (3), and the arm extension and contraction mechanism (5) so as to achieve the calculated turning angle θ, luffing angle φ, and arm length L.
Extendable boom with a locking system and method for operating an extendable boom of a crane
Telescopic lattice type crane boom for a crane, further comprising a locking system configured to lock at least one telescopic boom section with respect to a base boom section in at least an extended position, wherein said locking system includes a plurality of pins, each pin being configured to extend, in at least the extended position of the boom, at least partly through a corresponding pin receiving aperture provided in one of the base boom section and the at least one telescopic boom section.
