Thereby, a rotator (100) compact in its axial extension can be provided.
Excavator mounted head and assembly for supporting and angularly adjusting a clamshell style bucket assembly during such as a dredging operation
A tilt adjustable head attachment assembly for a clamshell style bucket for orienting first and second bucket halves at an angle relative to a length axis extending through an elongated and rigid attachment associated with a piece of power equipment, for supporting and manipulating the bucket. A frame has a three dimensional body, upwardly extending pillar mounts located at upper ends of the body and incorporating support shafts for receiving overlapping hinged locations associated with support arms for each of the first and second clamshell bucket halves. A platen is positioned pivotally arranged between the pillar mounts and includes an upper location engaged by an end projection of the elongated attachment. A cylinder is connected to a fixed underside location of the frame at a first end and to the platen at a second end and, upon being actuated, pivotally displacing the platen to in turn angle the frame and supported clamshell bucket halves relative to the excavator attachment according to a desired orientation.
Attachment for making up or breaking out pipe
An attachment is described that is configured for attachment to an arm of a piece of heavy construction equipment. The attachment is configured to rotate a section of pipe during break out (i.e. disconnection or disassembly) from another section of pipe and/or make up (i.e. connection or assembly) with another section of pipe. The attachment is configured to break the joint or torque the joint to a predetermined torque value, unthread or thread pipe, and lift the pipe under the power of the heavy construction equipment.
System and method for controlling the lifting and handling of a load
Described is a system for connecting a lifting device to a load to be lifted. The system includes a first connector member and a second connector member. The first connector member includes at least one pin. The second connector member includes an indexer mechanism defining a track that includes at least one track opening. At least a portion of the second connector is receivable in at least a portion of the first connector. At least a portion of the at least one pin is receivable in the track via the at least one track opening. The first connector member is reversibly coupleable to the second connector member via the pin and the indexer mechanism in response to a first series of longitudinal movements of the first or second connector members.
ROTATOR FOR A TOOL
The invention relates to a rotator (100) for a tool (200). The rotator (100) comprises a stator (102) and a rotor (104) rotatably arranged inside the stator (102). The rotor (104) comprises a radial bearing (122) having a first axial extension (a1) in the rotator (100). The rotator (100) comprises a separate bearing (112) arranged radially outside the rotor (104). The separate bearing (112) is configured to carry an external load of the rotator (100). The rotator (100) further comprises an electrical swivel (108) and/or an angle meter (116) arranged inside the rotor (102), and the electrical swivel (108) and/or the angle meter (116) at least partially extends axially in the first axial extension (a1) in the rotator (100). Thereby, a compact rotator design is provided.
Cross-link assembly for a dangling worktool for a machine
A cross-link assembly for a dangling worktool may include a frame configured to connect to a grapple, the frame having spaced apart arms; a pin movably engaged with the spaced apart arms, the pin having an abutment portion; and a lock member movably engaged with the frame. The lock member may be configured to engage with the abutment portion and have a lock portion configured to engage with a lock element provided on the grapple.
SYSTEM OF A CRANE AND AN EXCHANGEABLE TOOL
A system includes a crane and an exchangeable tool. The crane and the tool respectively, include an upper tool connector with tool retainers and a lower tool connector which can be interconnected, e.g. a male and female connector, e.g. the lower tool connector of the tool being embodied as a shank provided with a shoulder and the upper tool connector as a tool clamp with a female, open-centered body. A tool suspension device includes the upper tool connector and a travelling block member. The tool clamp has multiple mobile tool retainers adapted to—in a non-operative position—allow introduction of the shank of the tool from below into the shank receiving passage and—in an operative position—engage below the shoulder of the shank that has been introduced into the passage so as to suspend the tool. The upper tool connector may include a bearing allowing for swivelling of the open-centered body, and e.g. a rotational drive operative between the clamp housing and the female, open-centered body to actively drive said swivelling.
