CRANE WITH SAW ATTACHMENT MECHANISM
A crawler type crane having a base carrier unit having a control unit associated therewith and an upper portion assembly having a boom portion coupled at end to the base carrier unit and to a jib portion at an opposed end. The boom portion includes one or more selected boom sections that are articulatable relative to each other. The crane also includes a multi-function attachment unit that is coupled to the jib portion and has a grappling unit for grasping a work piece and a saw attachment unit for cutting the workpiece. The crane can also include a first fluid regulating device coupled to the jib portion for regulating a fluid to the jib portion and to the multi-function attachment unit and a second fluid regulating device coupled to the boom portion for regulating a fluid to the winch element and to the multi-function attachment unit.

WORK MACHINE AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR WORK MACHINE
A work machine is provided that includes: an attachment attached on an upper rotating body and including at least a boom, an arm attached on an end of the boom, and an end attachment attached on an end of the arm; and a control device, wherein the control device compensates for a torque, which causes the boom to rotate, based on either or both of a centrifugal force on the arm and an inertial force on the arm, and calculates a weight of a conveyance object conveyed by the attachment based on the torque for which the compensation is performed.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL GRAPPLE-HEEL COMBINATION DEVICE FOR USE WITH A MANIPULATION MACHINE
A grapple-heel rack having a frame, a grapple, and first and second angle-enabler catches. A grapple attachment (which may be or may include a universal joint) may be used to support the grapple from a nose of the frame. A mechanical grapple return system may be used to return the grapple from anon-neutral position to a neutral position. At least one method for using the grapple-heel rack.
Material handling system
A material handling system for engaging and transporting material. The material handling system includes a mouth and a hydraulic actuator for pivoting a tooth within the mouth. Once a material has been positioned within the mouth, the hydraulic piston actuates the tooth to secure the material within the mouth. The tooth is preferably configured and oriented to move into tighter engagement with the material as gravity or other forces attempt to remove the material from the mouth. The bottom jaw of the mouth tapers to a tip that allows the system to more easily pick up material from a surface and to more easily maneuver the tip into tight spaces. The hydraulic piston allows an operator to release the tooth whenever desired and a check valve provided on the hydraulic piston prevents the system from inadvertently dropping material. The material handling system includes a vehicle mounted boom coupled to the mouth so that material engaged by the mouth may be transported to another desired location.
BOOM VEHICLE WITH VERTICALLY AND LATERALLY FOLDABLE BOOM ASSEMBLY
A boom vehicle which comprises a vehicle framework; a boom/cab framework being rotatably supporting by the vehicle framework; a combined boom/arm being pivotably supported by the boom/cab framework about a boom/arm pivot axis; the combined boom/arm comprising at least a base telescoping section, a first pivoting arm section, and an implement manipulating section; and an implement being supportable adjacent a free end of the combined boom/arm. The first pivoting arm section and the implement manipulating section together being laterally foldable, with respect to the base telescoping section, about a lateral folding pivot axis which extends normal to the combined boom/arm pivot axis to facilitate transport of the boom vehicle with respect to the base telescoping section to facilitate transport of the boom vehicle along a roadway.

A grapple attachment (which may be or may include a universal joint) may be used to support the grapple from a nose of the frame. A mechanical grapple return system may be used to return the grapple from anon-neutral position to a neutral position. At least one method for using the grapple-heel rack.
Device and a ship for maintaining an offshore wind turbine
A maintenance device for maintaining an offshore wind turbine, the device being suitable for pressing against and traveling along the pylon of the wind turbine. The device includes a maintenance platform including a preferably U-shaped notch so that the pylon of the wind turbine can penetrate into said notch and travel means for causing the maintenance platform to travel along the pylon of the wind turbine. The travel means comprising a plurality of motor-driven crawlers arranged under said maintenance platform so that when the pylon of the wind turbine is placed in said notch with the vertical longitudinal axis of the pylon of the wind turbine perpendicular to the work plane of said maintenance platform.
