Disclosed are various embodiments of an apparatus in the shape of a bullet for opening corked and capped bottles and methods of doing the same.

An automated cork extractor includes a housing for enclosing a motor, a corkscrew, and a cork sleeve that does not move with respect to the housing during extraction of a cork from a bottle neck.

A device for extracting a cork from a bottle. The device leverages an axial and rotational pulling force, and pressurized gas in the interior of the bottle to displace a cork from a bottle.
