METHOD FOR UTILIZING CO2 IN EXHAUST GAS FROM CEMENT PRODUCTION, AND CO2 UTILIZING SYSTEM
Generating methane by adding hydrogen to CO.sub.2 in exhaust gas discharged a from cement production facility or CO.sub.2 that is separated and recovered from the exhaust gas, and using the methane as an alternative fuel to fossil fuel such as coal, petroleum, natural gas and the like, by methanation of CO.sub.2 in the exhaust gas from the cement production facility that includes exhaust gas originated from lime stone not from the fossil oil and effectively utilizing it, it is possible to reduce usage of the fossil fuel, suppress CO.sub.2 originated from energy, and improve an effect of reducing greenhouse gas.
Organic sludge treatment device and treatment method
To treat organic sludge while keeping facility costs, cement production efficiency, and a reduction in clinker production amount to a minimum. An organic sludge treatment device includes: a fractionation device 7 that fractionates a preheated raw material R2 from a preheater cyclone 4C excluding a bottommost cyclone of a cement burning device 1; a mixing device 8 that mixes an organic sludge S with the fractionated preheated raw material, and that dries the organic sludge using sensible heat of the preheated raw material; and a supply device (mixture chute 12, double-flap damper 13, shut damper 14) that supplies a mixture M from the mixing device to a calciner furnace 5 of the cement burning device or to a duct disposed between a kiln inlet portion of a cement kiln 2 and the calciner furnace. The treatment device may be provided with an introduction device for introducing an exhaust gas G2 including dust, odor and water vapor from the mixing device to a gas outlet of a bottommost cyclone 4A of the cement burning device.
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CEMENT CLINKER
A process for producing cement clinker, may involve preheating raw meal in a preheater, calcining the preheated raw meal in a calciner, and burning the preheated and calcined raw meal in a furnace to give cement clinker. The furnace may be supplied with a combustion gas having an oxygen content, and the temperature within the furnace is ascertained. The process may involve cooling the cement clinker in a cooler. The oxygen supply to the furnace is under closed-loop control as a function of the temperature ascertained within the furnace. The temperature ascertained is compared with a target value and, in the event of any variance of the temperature ascertained from the target value, the oxygen supply to the furnace and/or to the calciner is increased or decreased. The target value is adjusted depending on a particle size distribution and/or a lime standard.
REACTOR AND METHOD FOR CONVERSION OF A CARBONACEOUS MATERIAL
A method for the conversion of a carbonaceous material. The method comprising the steps of providing a carbonaceous material, providing a hot powder material and contacting the carbonaceous material and the powder material in an atmosphere configured to no more than partially oxidize carbon to CO.sub.2. The carbonaceous material is at least a partial converted into volatiles. The volatiles are separated from the additional components by specific gravity.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING COMBUSTIBLE SUBSTANCE
A treatment method and apparatus is provided to effectively use a combustible waste such as waste plastic, waste tires, rice husk, wood shavings, PKS, RDF and sludge while maintaining stable operation; to improve the combustion efficiency of a fossil fuel such as coal and coke; and furthermore to reduce the NOx concentration in a cement kiln exhaust gas. An apparatus 1 for treating a combustible, the apparatus comprising: a mixer 3 for mixing a combustible C with a preheated raw material R2, which has a temperature of 600° C. or higher and 900° C. or lower and which is drawn from a preheater cyclone of a cement burning device 10, to gasify the combustible; and a feeder 5 for feeding the gasified combustible and the preheated raw material (mixed raw material M) to a region from an inlet end 13a of the cement burning device to a calciner 12. When the combustible and the preheated raw material are mixed, moisture may be added to cause water gas shift reaction, and the resultant water gas and the preheated raw material may be introduced to the region from the inlet end of the cement burning device to the calciner.
