The invention aims to provide a cured film that is high in sensitivity, able to form a pattern having a small-tapered shape after a development step and after a heat curing step, helpful to depress the difference in the width of patterned openings between before and after the heat curing step, and high in light-shielding capability and also aims to provide a negative type photosensitive resin composition that serves for the production thereof. The negative type photosensitive resin composition includes an alkali-soluble resin (A), a radical polymerizable compound (B), a photo initiator (C1), and a black colorant (Da); the alkali-soluble resin (A) including a first resin (A1) containing one or more selected from the group consisting of polyimide (A1-1), polyimide precursor (A1-2), polybenzoxazole (A1-3), polybenzoxazole precursor (A1-4), and polysiloxane (A1-5); and the radical polymerizable compound (B) including one or more selected from the group consisting of a fluorene backbone-containing radical polymerizable compound (B1) and an indane backbone-containing radical polymerizable compound (B2).

The present invention provides a polarization-independent terahertz wave control element, and provides a method for manufacturing a polarization-independent terahertz wave control element. The present invention provides a terahertz wave control element comprising: (A) a first flat plate having (A1) a first substrate, (A2) a first electrode formed on the first substrate, and (A3) a first liquid crystal alignment film formed on the first electrode; (B) a second flat plate having (B1) a second substrate, (B2) a second electrode formed on the second substrate, and (B3) a second liquid crystal alignment film formed on the second electrode; and (C) a liquid crystal present in a space formed by disposing (A) the first flat plate and (B) the second flat plate parallel to each other with a predetermined distance therebetween so that the first and second liquid crystal alignment films face each other, wherein (D1) the terahertz wave control element has a first portion in which the liquid crystal is aligned in a first direction parallel to (A) the first flat plate and (B) the second flat plate, and a second portion in which the liquid crystal is aligned in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and parallel to (A) the first flat plate and (B) the second flat plate when no voltage is applied, (D2) the first portion has a first width, the second portion has a second width, the first and second portions are disposed adjacent to each other and alternately disposed in a predetermined cycle, (D3) when voltage is applied, the liquid crystal in each of the first portion and the second portion is aligned in a direction orthogonal to (A) the first substrate and (B) the second substrate, and (E) a phase change in which a terahertz wave transmitted through the terahertz wave control element is independent of the state of polarization.

This invention relates to polyurethane-based pressure sensitive adhesive compositions that comprise curable moieties. The adhesive compositions are “switchable” from a tacky state to a non-tacky state by initiating curing of the curable moieties. The adhesive compositions comprise the reaction product of: (A) a polymer component containing at least 2 nucleophilic functional groups containing an active hydrogen atom; and (B) a crosslinking component that is obtainable by reacting a polyisocyanate component and a ompound comprising a functional group that is curable by free-radical polymerisation and further comprising a nucleophilic functional group containing an active hydrogen atom.

This invention relates to polyurethane-based pressure sensitive adhesive compositions that comprise curable moieties. The adhesive compositions are “switchable” from a tacky state to a non-tacky state by initiating curing of the curable moieties. The adhesive compositions comprise the reaction product of: (A) a polymer component containing at least 2 nucleophilic functional groups containing an active hydrogen atom; and (B) a crosslinking component that is obtainable by reacting a polyisocyanate component and a ompound comprising a functional group that is curable by free-radical polymerisation and further comprising a nucleophilic functional group containing an active hydrogen atom.

The developer carrying member includes an electroconductive substrate and a surface layer on the substrate, the surface layer being a single layer and including a matrix containing a crosslinked urethane resin as a binder, wherein E1 ≥200 MPa and 10 MPa≤E2 ≤100 MPa, where E1 is an elastic modulus of the matrix in a first region from an outer surface of the surface layer to a depth of 0.1 and E2 is an elastic modulus of the matrix in a second region from a depth of 1.0 to 1.1 μm from the outer surface. The toner includes a toner particle containing a binder resin and a colorant and having a Martens hardness of 85 to 1,100 MPa when measured under a condition of a maximum load of 2.0×10.sup.−4 N.

COMPOSITION

A composition for temporary bonding, includes: (A) a (meth)acrylate having the following (A-1) and (A-2): (A-1) a monofunctional (meth)acrylate whose side chain is an alkyl group having 18 or more carbon atoms and homopolymer has a Tg of −100° C. to 60° C., and (A-2) a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate; (B) a polyisobutene homopolymer and/or a polyisobutene copolymer; and (C) a photo radical polymerization initiator.
