An optical fiber includes a glass fiber including: a core and a cladding; and a coating resin layer coating the glass fiber in contact with the glass fiber; wherein the coating resin layer has a primary resin layer coating the glass fiber in contact with the glass fiber and a secondary resin layer coating the primary resin layer, the primary resin layer contains a cured product of a first resin composition containing a photopolymerizable compound and a phosphine oxide-based photopolymerization initiator, the secondary resin layer contains a cured product of a second resin composition containing a photopolymerizable compound and a phosphine oxide-based photopolymerization initiator, and an amount of the phosphine oxide-based photopolymerization initiator remaining unreacted in the coating resin layer is 0.5 mass % or less.

Organic EL image display device
The present invention provides an organic EL image display device including a reflecting layer, an organic electroluminescent layer group, a polarization separation layer, and a circularly polarizing plate in this order, in which the polarization separation layer includes polarization separation sites arranged in a matrix form corresponding to the organic electroluminescent layer group, the polarization separation site reflects light of one polarization state and transmits light of the other polarization state in light emitted from the corresponding organic electroluminescent layer, the polarization separation layer is divided by a visible light transmission region to form the polarization separation sites, and a wavelength range of the reflection is wider than a wavelength range of the light emission. The organic EL image display device according to the present invention has high brightness at the time of both front observation and oblique observation and little image blurring.

A contact lens product includes a contact lens and a buffer solution. The contact lens is stored in the buffer solution. The buffer solution includes at least one antioxidant. The contact lens includes at least one curcuminoid. When a weight percentage concentration of the curcuminoid in the contact lens is Ccu, and a weight percentage concentration of the antioxidant in the buffer solution is Cao, a specific condition relating to Ccu/Cao is satisfied.

The contact lens includes at least one curcuminoid. When a weight percentage concentration of the curcuminoid in the contact lens is Ccu, and a weight percentage concentration of the antioxidant in the buffer solution is Cao, a specific condition relating to Ccu/Cao is satisfied.

The present invention provides: a laminate which has a polarizer and an optically anisotropic layer and has excellent thermal durability; and an organic electroluminescent device and a liquid crystal display device, which include the laminate. The laminate according to the embodiment of the present invention is a laminate having two substrates, and a polarizing plate disposed between the two substrates, in which the polarizing plate has an optically anisotropic layer and a polarizer, the optically anisotropic layer is formed of a composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound represented by Formula (I), the polarizer contains a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, and a moisture permeability of the substrate is 10.sup.−3 g/m.sup.2.Math.day or less. ##STR00001##
