THERMOSETTING MATERIAL FOR USE IN A 3D PRINTING PROCESS
The present invention relates to a thermosetting material for use in a 3D printing process comprising: a) at least one epoxy resin A, b) at least one elastomer-modified epoxy resin B, c) at least one resin C with a dynamic viscosity of below 4 Pas at 150° C., d) at least one of a curing agent D capable of reacting with A, B and optionally C, e) and optionally additional compounds,
wherein the glass transition temperature of the uncured material is at least 30° C., preferably at least 40° C. as measured with DSC at a heating rate of 20° C./min.
The invention further relates to a method of producing a cured 3D thermoset object and the use of the above-mentioned thermosetting material in a 3D printing process.
Epoxy-functionalized polyorganosiloxane toughener
An epoxy-functionalized polyorganosiloxane toughener providing toughening properties for thermosetting resins is described. The epoxy-functionalized polyorganosiloxane toughener is an epoxy-functionalized siloxane polyether with a siloxane backbone, at least one epoxy-containing alkyl chain, and at least one alkoxyl polyether chain, each said at least one epoxy-containing alkyl chain and at least one alkoxyl polyether chain grafted to the siloxane backbone. Also disclosed is a thermosetting resin-based composition comprising the epoxy-functionalized polyorganosiloxane toughener of claim 1 and at least one of an epoxy resin, a hardener, and an accelerator.
ROOM TEMPERATURE IONIC LIQUID CURING AGENT
Epoxy curing agents are disclosed having an epoxy curing agent comprising at least one room temperature ionic liquid salt, the room temperature ionic liquid salt being a reaction product of (a) at least one polyalkylene polyamine compound represented by formula (I):

wherein x, y, and z are integers of 2 and 3, m and n and integers of 1-3; and (b) an organic acid having pKa (the negative of the logarithm of the acid dissociation constant) less than 6. The liquid salt is a stable liquid at a temperature greater than 15° C. Curable epoxy-based compositions including the curing agent and articles formed by the curable epoxy-based compositions are also disclosed.

Epoxy curing agents are disclosed having an epoxy curing agent comprising at least one room temperature ionic liquid salt, the room temperature ionic liquid salt being a reaction product of (a) at least one polyalkylene polyamine compound represented by formula (I):

Method of lining a pipeline with a delayed curing resin composition
A resin composition and method for installing a pipe liner that allows the liner to be fully wet out with a resin and activator and stored for a period of up to six months prior to installation and curing. A method of lining a pipe with a delayed curing resin composition is also provided that includes fully wetting out a liner with a blended two part epoxy composition such that the liner can be transported in a wet out fashion, placed in a pipe to be lined and repositioned as needed without concern for the resin composition to begin curing.

THERMOSETTING MATERIAL FOR USE IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
The present invention relates to a thermosetting material for use in additive manufacturing, the material comprising at least one thermosetting resin and at least two curing compounds different from said thermosetting resin that are able to cure this/these thermosetting resin(s), wherein at least one curing compound is provided for curing during the additive manufacturing process and at least one curing compound is provided for curing during a post-curing step. The invention furthermore relates to a method of producing a cured 3D thermoset object comprising at least the steps of subjecting the material according to the present invention to an additive manufacturing process, obtaining a partially cured 3D thermoset object and subsequently subjecting the partially cured 3D thermoset object to a post-curing process to further cure the 3D thermoset object Additionally, the invention relates to the use of the material in an SLS, FFF, CBAM, FGF or powder bed additive manufacturing process.
AQUEOUS COATING COMPOSITION CONTAINING AN EPOXY-AMINE SYSTEM AND AN AROMATIC CARBOXYLIC ACID AS CURING CATALYST
Disclosed herein is an aqueous coating composition containing an aqueous epoxy resin dispersion, an aqueous amine-functional resin dispersion and an aromatic carboxylic acid. The aqueous dispersion contains at least one specific di- and/or polyfunctional monomeric amine and at least one resin component including at least one specific polyfunctional organic amine. Further disclosed herein is a kit-of-parts including a base varnish containing the aqueous epoxy resin dispersion and a curing component containing the aqueous amine-functional resin dispersion as well as the aromatic carboxylic acid. Additionally disclosed herein is a process for producing a coating on the substrate as well as coated substrates resulting from said process. Cured coating layers formed from said compositions exhibit a good adhesion to the substrate as well as a high intercoat adhesion and blistering stability under humidity conditions without negatively influencing the excellent sandability and the good stone chipping properties.
