An encapsulant film is made from a composition comprising (A) a non-polar ethylene-based polymer having a density of 0.850 g/cc to 0.890 g/cc; (B) an organic peroxide; (C) a silane coupling agent; and (D) a co-agent comprising triallyl phosphate.
CARBON BLACK COMPOSITION TO IMPROVE AESTHETIC AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ELASTOMER COMPOUNDS
This invention provides novel carbon black composition comprising of at least 5 one first carbon black, filler1, with iodine number in the range of about 25 to 160 mg/g, nitrogen surface area (NSA) in the range of 20 m.sup.2/g to 150 m.sup.2/g, with at least one second carbon black, filler 2, preferably, with iodine number in the range of 160 mg/g to 300 mg/g, nitrogen surface area (NSA) in the range of 160 m.sup.2/g to 300 m.sup.2/g oil absorption number (OAN) in the range of 50 10 ml/100 g to 120 ml/100 g, having synergistically enhanced distribution of width of aggregate size ΔD50 and elastomer compounds of natural rubber or synthetic rubbers or their predefined mixtures comprising said novel carbon black composition with improved properties such as tensile strength, elongation at break, tear strength, cut growth etc. along with improvement of the aesthetic 15 and colour properties of the elastomer compounds, such as, L* value etc.
THERMOSETTING THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE DIELECTRIC COMPOSITE
In an aspect, a dielectric composite comprises a thermoset epoxy resin; a reinforcing layer; greater than or equal 40 volume percent of a hexagonal boron nitride based on the total volume of the dielectric composite minus the reinforcing layer; 3 to 7.5 volume percent of a fused silica based on the total volume of the dielectric composite minus the reinforcing layer; an epoxy silane; an accelerator; and a de-aerator. The hexagonal boron nitride can comprise a plurality of hexagonal boron nitride platelets and a plurality of hexagonal boron nitride agglomerates. A volume ratio of the hexagonal boron nitride agglomerates to the hexagonal boron nitride platelets can be 1:1.5 to 4:1.
THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE SILICONE RESIN COMPOSITION
One of the objects of the present invention is to provide a thermally conductive silicone resin composition which has good thermal conductivity, a light weight (namely, a light weight per unit volume), and good reliability in high humidity, and a molded body thereof. The present invention provides a thermally conductive silicone resin composition comprising the following components (A) to (E): (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups each bonded to a silicon atom in an amount of 100 parts by mass, (B) an organohydrogen polysiloxane having at least two hydrogen atoms each bonded to a silicon atom in an amount such that a ratio of the number of the hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom relative to the number of the alkenyl group in component (A) is 0.1 to 2, (C) a thermally conductive filler in an amount of 2500 to 6000 parts by mass, (D) a catalytic amount of an addition reaction catalyst, and (E) an addition-reaction controlling agent in an amount of 0.01 to 1 part by mass, wherein the thermally conductive filler (C) comprises magnesium oxide having a specific surface area of 0.4 m.sup.2/g or less in an amount of 20 to 50 wt % and aluminum hydroxide in an amount of 10 to 30 wt %, relative to a total weight of component (C).
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RESIN COMPOSITION
A method of manufacturing resin composition includes following operations. A nano-particle filler, a micro-inorganic particle, and a resin are stirred and mixed to form a mixture. The mixture is centrifuged at a high speed to form an upper layer mixing liquid and a lower layer mixing liquid. The upper layer mixing liquid is taken out and obtains the resin composition.

Described herein are methods and compositions for forming three-dimensional objects via material jetting processes, the methods including the repeated steps of selectively depositing a liquid thermoset material onto a surface from a nozzle of at least one jetting head in a first specified direction and exposing at least a portion of the liquid thermoset material to a source of actinic radiation in order to form a three-dimensional object from the cured thermoset material, wherein the jetting head is configured to eject droplets of the liquid thermoset material from the nozzle at prescribed elevated operating temperatures, and wherein the liquid thermoset material is chosen so as to possessing prescribed viscosity and rheological characteristics.

Provided are: a composition that can impart a thermoplastic resin with excellent transparency and physical properties; a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same; and a molded article thereof. PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION, CURED BODY, GASKET IN WHICH CURED BODY IS USED, WATERTIGHT STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GASKET
A photocurable composition is provided. A cured product formed by curing the photocurable composition has reworkability and excellent heat resistance while having flexibility. The photocurable composition includes a telechelic acrylic polymer having an acryloyl group at both ends; a polyfunctional acrylic polymer having acryloyl groups; a monofunctional acrylic monomer; and a fumed silica including at least one of a hydrophilic fumed silica or a fumed silica having a polar group. The photocurable composition has a Martens hardness of 0.07 to 0.75 N/mm.sup.2, where the Martens hardness is a hardness after the photocurable composition is cured.
A STABLE PVC COMPOSITION COMPRISING AN ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY PLASTICIZER
The present invention refers to a polyvinyl chloride composition with high stability, said composition comprising: a) 100 phr (parts per hundred resin) of a polyvinyl chloride resin, b) 10-150 phr of pentaerythritol tetravalerate as plasticizer, said pentaerythritol tetravalerate having an acid value of less than 0.05 mg KOH/g and being obtained through esterification of valeric acid and high purity pentaerythritol having a purity of at least 98%, an ash content of less than 200 ppm and a dipentaerythritol content of 0.1-2 wt%, c) 0.3-14 phr of at least one stabilizer, and optionally d) at least one additive, wherein and the amount of free acid in the polyvinyl chloride composition is less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The invention further refers to a polyvinyl chloride article comprising said composition and having an amount of free acid less than 30 ppm, preferably less than 20 ppm. The present invention also refers to a method for analyzing the amount of free acid in a polyvinyl chloride sample.

The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a spherical core and at least one cover layer covering the spherical core, wherein the spherical core is formed from a rubber composition containing (a) a base rubber, (b) two or more α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids having 3 to 14 carbon atoms and having no substituent group at a carbon atom bonding to the carboxy group, and/or a metal salt thereof, and (c) a crosslinking initiator.
