Method for preparing polyolefin using supported hybrid metallocene catalyst
The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a polyolefin using a supported hybrid metallocene catalyst. According to the present disclosure, a polyolefin having a narrow molecular weight distribution can be prepared very effectively by introducing a cocatalyst in an optimum content in the presence of a supported hybrid metallocene catalyst containing two or more metallocene compounds having a specific chemical structure. The polyolefin prepared according to the present disclosure exhibits excellent uniformity in chlorine distribution in polyolefin during chlorination, thereby significantly improving elongation of the chlorinated polyolefin, compatibility with PVC and impact reinforcing performance. Thus, it exhibits excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance, flame retardancy, processability and impact strength reinforcing effect, and can be suitably applied as an impact reinforcing agent for PVC pipes and window profiles.

FUNCTIONALIZED PROCESS AID BLENDS FOR CELLULAR PVC
A method of reducing foamed density that results in a foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) component exhibiting reduced density. The foamed PVC component contains at least a PVC resin and a process aid blend. The process aid blend contains from 1 weight % to 60 weight % (based on the weight of the blend) of a functionalized process aid, and from 99 weight % to 40 weight % (based on the weight of the blend) of a non-functionalized process aid. The functionalized process aid includes at least one base polymer functionalized with a reactive epoxy, hydroxyl, β-keto ester, β-keto amide, or carboxylic acid functional group. The foamed PVC component containing the process aid blend has a lower density than a reference foamed PVC component made using the same process conditions and additives, but which contains only non-functionalized process aid and not the functionalized process aid.
COATING FILM AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
A coating film and a method for forming the same are provided. The coating film controls reduction in repellency of hydrophobic fine particles and increases rub fastness of the coating film. The coating film includes a ground layer containing thermoplastic resin (chlorinated polyolefin or acid modified chlorinated polyolefin, for example) and an upper layer containing hydrophobic fine particles (hydrophobic silica particle or silicone resin particle, for example) formed on the ground layer. Parts of the hydrophobic fine particles contained in the upper layer are buried in the ground layer.
