Phosphorus coal gasification reaction device for combined production of yellow phosphorus and syngas
Disclosed is a phosphorus coal gasification reaction device for combined production of yellow phosphorus and syngas, including a stock bin, a mineral aggregate lock hopper, a phosphorous coal gasification reactor, a slag quench chamber and a slag lock hopper. In the phosphorous coal gasification reactor, a drying zone, a dry distillation zone, a combustion zone, a phosphate rock reduction zone, and a slag bath zone are formed from top to bottom. A gas product outlet communicating with the phosphorous coal gasification reactor is installed at a top of the phosphorous coal gasification reactor, two to eight fuel burners are symmetrically arranged on the combustion zone, and an auxiliary burner communicating with the slag bath zone is arranged at the bottom of the slag bath zone. The reactor device can improve the production capacity of the yellow phosphorus, and reduce the emission of CO.sub.2.
Method for operating a descending moving bed reactor with flowable granular material
A method can be used for operating a descending moving bed reactor with flowable granular material. The method involves: (i) filling an upper lock-hopper with granular material and/or emptying a lower lock-hopper, (ii) purging the lock-hoppers with purging gas, and (iii) filling the reaction chamber containing a descending moving bed from the upper lock-hopper and/or emptying the reaction chamber into the lower lock-hopper. The pressure equalization between the reaction chamber and lock-hopper is achieved with product gas. The method then involves: (iv) optionally, relieving the lock-hoppers and conveying the product gas flow into the product line, and (v) purging the lock-hoppers with purging gas.
Method and system for gasification of biomass
A continuous system for gasification of a biomass feedstock comprising: a fuel conditioning zone, a gasification zone and a char cooling area.

Universal feeder with clamshell transfer screw
Exemplary apparatus or method implementations for a universal feeder system configured with a transfer screw feeder within a multi-section clamshell pipe permitting access to the feed screw and pipe interior for inspection, maintenance and/or cleaning during production, without disassembly or screw removal. The clamshell screw feeder pipe provides access to the screw by opening or removing the multi-section top portion of the clamshell pipe. The top pipe section is bolted and or hinges to the bottom portion of the clamshell pipe. The number of segmented multiple clamshell top sections depends on the length of the screw. One or more clamshell top sections may be configured with an inspection port. The universal feeder system configured with a transfer screw feeder within a multi-section clamshell pipe transfers feedstock feed from one or more feed vessels to one or more reactor vessel.

Vertical pyrolysis reactor with precise control
The present invention relates to a vertical pyrolysis reactor, including a reactor shell, a feeding device, a biomass gas outlet on the top of the reactor, an ash discharging device on the bottom of the reactor, and a grate inside the reactor. The feeding device is located on the bottom of the reactor, and an outlet of the feeding device is located in a central region of the bottom in the reactor for uniform material distribution. A slag breaking device is mounted in the pyrolysis reactor, forming an organic combination with the rotating grate. The output is adjustable through the operating speed of the grate. Precise control of a pyrolysis reaction is realized by controlling the feeding speed, discharging speed, material bed thickness, inlet air volume, inlet air distribution, reaction temperature, etc. Biomass having a size up to around 10 cm can be processed effectively and continuously due to the position design of the feeding device in conjunction with the use of the slag breaking device.

Downdraft Fixed-Bed Gasifier for Producing a Product Gas from Pourable Biomass Particles
A downdraft fixed-bed gasifier for producing product gas from pourable biomass particles includes a gasifier container, a gasifier component, a feeder, an air supply inlet, a grate and a product gas vent. The gasifier container has a larger diameter than does the gasifier component. The lower open end of the gasifier component extends down into the gasifier container. The feeder is adapted to receive biomass particles into the upper closed end of the gasifier component. Combustion air is fed into the gasifier component through the air supply inlet located near the upper closed end. The grate supports the biomass particles and is disposed in a lower portion of the gasifier container below the lower open end of the gasifier component. Product gas generated from oxidizing the biomass particles exits the gasifier container through the product gas vent located in the side of the container below the level of the grate.
