Molecules having one hydrophobic group and two identical hydrophilic ionic groups and compositions thereof and methods of preparation thereof
A novel class of compounds is described here. The disclosed novel compounds have one hydrophilic group and two identical hydrophilic ionic groups. The two hydrophilic groups of the disclosed compounds contain or end with a cationic or anionic charged group. The disclosed novel compounds herein can be used as surfactants in an article, product, or composition, or for some other purposes. A method to synthesize the disclosed novel compounds is also described.

Use of di-ionic compounds as corrosion inhibitors in a water system
Disclosed herein are the methods of using di-cationic or di-anionic compounds, which are derived from primary amine through an aza-Michael addition with an activated olefin, in a corrosion control composition to mitigate corrosion of a surface in a water system. The disclosed methods or compositions are found to be more effective than those methods or compositions including commonly used single quaternary compounds for mitigating corrosion for a metal surface in water systems.
Anti-limescale composition
Use as a decalcifying and descaling remover of a composition comprising: a) a first solvent selected from: optionally associated with a second solvent b) selected from at least a lower alcohol, water or mixtures thereof, wherein a1) a eutectic solvent consisting of a hydrogen bond acceptor and of a hydrogen bond donor, a2) an ionic liquid or a3) a mixture of said eutectic solvent and said ionic liquid; in the first eutectic solvent a1) the hydrogen bond acceptor and the hydrogen bond donor are halogen-free.
Surface modification of microcapsules
A method of providing a modifier on the surface of an active-containing core-shell aminoplast microcapsule, including the covalent attachment of the modifier to the capsule shell surface by means of a coupling compound capable of covalent bonding to both shell and modifier by means of epoxy groups on the coupling compound. The method is especially useful for enhancing the substantiveness to fabrics of fragrance microcapsules added to laundry products.
Cleaning agent composition for semiconductor device substrate, method of cleaning semiconductor device substrate, method of manufacturing semiconductor device substrate, and semiconductor device substrate
According to the present invention, there is provided a cleaning agent composition for a semiconductor device substrate including at least one of wiring and an electrode in which the wiring and the electrode contain cobalt or a cobalt alloy, the cleaning agent composition including a component (A): at least one compound selected from the group consisting of specific compounds; and a component (B): water.
