Quilted panel
Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs without compressing the webs. A quilting machine includes a needle bar to which needles are attached, needle thread passing through each needle, a looper shaft to which loopers are attached, a looper corresponding to each needle and from which looper thread is provided to form stitches, and a retainer bar to which spreaders are attached to facilitate stitching. A drive pulley powered by a first servo motor rotates cranks to move the needles through a cycle and rotates a belt which rotates an indexer pulley. Rotation of the indexer pulley oscillates the looper shaft and reciprocates the retainer bar. Another drive pulley powered by a second servo motor operates to move an input web through the machine between chain stiches.

Stitch-forming tool assembly for a sewing system and sewing system having such an assembly
A stitch-forming tool assembly for a sewing machine is used to produce a double-chain stitch seam. A sewing needle of the assembly can be driven up and down in a needle stitching direction perpendicular to a material to be sewn and is designed to guide a needle thread. A looper of the assembly is designed to guide a looper thread and for oscillating movement in an oscillating movement plane. The latter is spanned by the needle stitching direction and by a sewing direction along the double chain stitch seam. During an entire double chain stitch a path of movement of the looper lies completely in the oscillating movement plane. This results in a stitch-forming tool assembly in which in particular a looper drive is simplified.

Device for fastening a gripper on a gripper shaft of a textile machine
A device for fastening a gripper on a gripper shaft of a textile machine, in particular a sewing machine, preferably a multi-needle sewing machine, with a support element for the gripper is described. The support element for the gripper is connected to a holder or the gripper shaft via a connecting element in such a way that the support element for the gripper is detachable from the holder or the gripper shaft. The connecting element is designed as a toggle screw or locking mechanism such that the toggle screw rotatably engages through a bore in the support element into a corresponding opening in the holder or the gripper shaft, engaging behind an abutment, or the locking mechanism is designed as a positive connection between the support element and the holder.
SEWING DEVICE
A sewing device includes a power source, an input shaft to which a driving force from the power source is transmitted, an output shaft that outputs the driving force transmitted to the input shaft, and a transmission mechanism that transmits the driving force from the input shaft to the output shaft, in which the transmission mechanism includes a first gear that is provided in the output shaft and rotates integrally with the output shaft, a second gear that meshes with the first gear, an intermediate shaft that rotates integrally with the second gear, and a timing belt stretched between the input shaft and the intermediate shaft, in which the second gear is disposed to be movable in a circumferential direction of the first gear. As a result, loosening of the timing belt can be adjusted in a compact configuration.
APPARATUS FOR STITCHING VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENTS
An apparatus for stitching an interior component is disclosed herein. The component having an outer skin layer and the apparatus is a single needle chain stitch machine with a rotary looper and wherein a needle of the apparatus descends through the interior component and a hook of the rotary looper engages a thread loop formed during retraction of the needle after it has descended through the interior component; and wherein the apparatus further includes a mechanism for moving the interior component relative to the needle and looper to establish a stitch length.

SEWING DEVICE AND LOOPER POSITIONING METHOD
There is provided a sewing device comprising a needle and a looper, the sewing device including a rotation shaft that rotates the looper, and a set bolt that has a conical distal end and positions the looper in an axial direction relative to the rotation shaft from a radial direction of the rotation shaft, in which the looper includes a through screw hole into which the set bolt is screwed, the rotation shaft includes a groove recessed from a peripheral surface of the rotation shaft, and the groove includes an inclined surface that the distal end of the set bolt contacts. In one aspect, in the sewing device, a cross section of the groove viewed in a direction along an axis of the rotation shaft has a V shape. As a result, a relative position between the needle and the looper can be positioned with significantly high accuracy.
