A washing machine appliance includes a cabinet with a wash tub positioned within the cabinet. The washing machine appliance also includes a wash basket rotatably mounted within the wash tub. The wash basket is rotatable within the tub along a direction of rotation. The washing machine appliance further includes a vent extending through the wash tub from a vent inlet along a longitudinal axis and a cutoff defined at an intersection of the vent and the wash tub.

Devices, methods, and systems for disinfection with light are disclosed. In some examples, a lighting source is operable to provide light at wavelength range of about 380 nm - 420 nm with an irradiance and/or dosage sufficient for disinfection. One or more sensors and a control system may be used to control operation of the lighting source, such as by adjusting the lighting source in response to various inputs.

A descaling device is disposed in a washing machine for descaling. The descaling device includes a main body and a descaling assembly. The descaling assembly includes a connecting rod and a descaling rod which are connected to each other. The connecting rod is linked by the main body to rotate. The descaling rod is bent at an angle relative to the connecting rod. The descaling rod is a brush. The descaling rod is linked by the connecting rod to rotate for descaling. The descaling device can descale and clean a larger area of the inner and outer tanks of the washing machine efficiently.

Provided is a self-cleaning method for a filter assembly of a washing machine, the method comprising: receiving a user operation instruction for starting a self-cleaning process; executing the self-cleaning process, so as to clean the filter assembly of the washing machine, and before the self-cleaning process is completed, only receiving user operation instructions for turning off the washing machine, pausing the self-cleaning process and unpausing the self-cleaning process, and prohibiting receipt of or ignoring the user operation instructions other than user operation instructions for turning off the washing machine, pausing the self-cleaning process and unpausing the self-cleaning process. According to the present invention, the filter assembly of the washing machine is thoroughly cleaned, prolonging the service life of the filter assembly in the washing machine and ensuring that the filter assembly always has a high filtration flux.

A self-cleaning drum washing machine, comprises a coaxial drum and outer tub. Cleaning particles are arranged between the drum and the outer tub. Structures between the drum and the outer tub opposite to each other are smooth. A flange is fixedly connected to the bottom of the drum; the outer portion of the flange has a smooth structure or an enclosed cavity is arranged on the outer portion of the drum bottom; the flange is arranged in the cavity; a shaft hole is arranged at the center of the cavity; and a drum shaft sticks into the cavity through the shaft hole and is connected to the flange. The smooth structures go against the attachment of dirt, so that the outer wall of the drum and the inner wall of the outer tub can be conveniently cleaned by the cleaning particles.

Disclosed herein is a detergent pourer sterilizer. In one aspect, a detergent pourer sterilizer is provided to include a housing including a hollow portion having an open side; a detergent pourer configured to be detachably attached to the housing; a cover member configured to open or close the one open side of the hollow portion; and at least one UV LED configured to emit ultraviolet light toward the hollow portion.

A drum washing machine is provided with a double spraying system used for washing the window and the window gasket ring respectively. A first spraying nozzle is connected with the inlet solenoid valve of the washing machine to wash the outer surface of the watching window and the window gasket ring, and a second spraying nozzle to wash the folded inner wall of the window gasket ring. The spraying nozzles are connected to the solenoid valve through a three-way pipe, or connected to the solenoid valve of the washing machine through respective pipes. The double spraying system intakes water and soaks the clothes in the washing process, and/or intakes water and sprays the watching window and the window gasket ring simultaneously, and/or sprays the watching window and the window gasket ring when dehydrating the clothes in the dehydrating process.

A clothes-processing apparatus is disclosed. The clothes-processing apparatus may have a cabinet defining an external appearance of the apparatus. The clothes-processing apparatus may also have a tub body provided inside the cabinet to accommodate water. Further, the clothes-processing apparatus may have a tub cover coupled to the tub body. The tub cover may have an opening through which laundry is introduced. The clothes-processing apparatus may have a drum rotatably provided inside the tub to accommodate laundry. The clothes-processing apparatus may also have a plurality of cleaning nozzles provided at the tub to spray the water toward a preset area of the drum. At least some of the plurality of cleaning nozzles may jet water at different spray angles.
