UV-TREATMENT IN INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY ON INTERMITTENT WASHING SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to a method for washing textiles in an intermittent washing system using UV radiation, to a device for carrying out the method, and to the use of UV radiation, in particular UV-C radiation, in methods for washing textiles in intermittent washing systems.
A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE HAVING A VAPOR AND/OR MIST AND/OR AEROSOL GENERATOR
A laundry washing machine comprising: a cabinet, a washing tub housed inside the cabinet, a tubular mantle rotatably housed inside the cabinet, an electric additive treating device mounted in/on the tubular mantle and configured for treating a washing and/or rinsing additive loaded within the tubular mantle in such a way to generate within the tubular mantle a solution of washing and/or rinsing additive water.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE AND METHOD
A laundry treating appliance and method of initiating a sanitization cycle in a laundry treating appliance includes sensing at least one of a presence of an article within a sanitizing compartment, an identification of the article within the sanitizing compartment, or a chemical property within the sanitizing compartment, and determining, in a controller, a need for initiating a sanitization cycle.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY APPLIANCES WITH DISINFECTING SPRAY
Methods and systems for treating laundry appliances with disinfecting spray are provided. The laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening and a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes a spray nozzle positioned and operable to direct a spray of sanitizing agent into the treatment chamber. The laundry appliance may be treated by closing a water valve upstream of the treatment chamber, and, while the water valve is closed, activating a pump to pump the sanitizing agent from a tank to the spray nozzle. Thus, the spray of sanitizing agent is directed into the treatment chamber by and from the spray nozzle.
ADAPTIVE SELF CLEAN CYCLE IN A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a basket rotatably mounted within a tub, a motor assembly for selectively rotating the basket, and a wash fluid dispenser for selectively providing a flow of wash fluid into the tub. A controller is configured to receive a command to initiate a self-clean cycle, determine that a cycle adjustment condition exists based at least in part on historical data related to the performance of self-clean cycles, generate a set of adjusted self-clean cycle parameters by adjusting an operating parameter of the self-clean cycle, and perform the self-clean cycle in accordance with the adjusted self-clean cycle parameters.
SANITATION SYSTEM FOR LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCES
A sanitizing system for use in a laundry treating appliance and at least partially included in an agitator of the laundry treating appliance, the agitator may include a housing configured to be removably attached to a rotating drum or an impeller of laundry treating appliance, and an ultraviolet light disposed in the housing, wherein the ultraviolet light is configured to transmit ultraviolet light to articles of clothing disposed in a drum of the washing machine.
LAUNDRY APPLIANCES COLD WATER SANITIZATION
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening with a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes an electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator upstream of the treatment chamber with respect to a flow of cold water through the laundry appliance and a controller. The controller may be configured for and/or a method of sanitizing the laundry appliance may include opening a valve upstream of the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator to provide the flow of cold water through the laundry appliance, confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance after opening the valve, and activating the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator after confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance.
LAUNDRY DRYER AND LAUNDRY DRYER CONTROL METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a laundry dryer control method comprising: a sterilizing and drying step of increasing the internal temperature of a cabinet for sterilization; a steam-washing step of supplying steam into a drum, in order to sterilize the drum, after the sterilizing and drying step; and a blowing step of circulating the air inside the drum after the steam-washing step, and thus the temperature of the drum is controlled so as to be greater than or equal to a reference temperature at which sterilization is performed so that the drum is sterilized.
A SELF-CLEANING WASHING MACHINE
A self-cleaning washing machine includes an outer tub and an inner tub, a chamber between the outer tub and the inner tub is provided with cleaning particles for cleaning the inner wall of the outer tub and the outer wall of the inner tub, an accommodating chamber for collecting the cleaning particles is connected to a drainage outlet of the outer tub; a shield cover arranged at the drainage outlet rises or falls with the change of the water level in the washing machine or the control device to open or at least partially close the drainage outlet so that the cleaning particles flow into the chamber or back into the accommodating chamber. By setting the shield cover, the cleaning particles are not sucked out from the accommodating chamber and enter between the inner tub and the outer tub to avoid noise when the washing machine is dewatering.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TEXTILES DISINFECTION IN HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
The present invention relates to a UVC technology-based system for disinfecting textiles comprising an ultraviolet light source comprising a power supply; a housing to contain the light source and to protect it from any impact; an electronic card responsible for controlling the switching on or off of the ultraviolet light source; a driving means that activates the movement of the drum and an electrical resistance that allows the generation of heat to start the drying cycle inside the household appliance. The system allows disinfecting textiles by up to 99.9%, saving energy and, at the same time, reducing the process time and damage to the textiles.
