The present invention provides a urethane resin water dispersion containing a urethane resin (A), water (B), and a crosslinking agent (C), wherein the urethane resin (A) has a viscosity at 50° C. in the range of from 15,000 to 34,000 Pa.Math.s, a viscosity at 100° C. in the range of from 1,000 to 10,000 Pa.Math.s, and a viscosity at 150° C. in the range of from 100 to 1,300 Pa.Math.s. Further, the present invention provides a synthetic leather having a bonding layer formed from the urethane resin water dispersion. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing the synthetic leather.
USING A POLYOL MIXTURE COMPRISING PBD FOR CREATING A PU-BASED ARTIFICIAL TURF
A method of manufacturing an artificial turf includes creating fluid polyurethane mass. The creation including reacting first and second polyols with an isocyanate. The first polyol is a polyether polyol and/or a polyester polyol having at least 2 hydroxyl groups per molecule, the second polyol being polybutadien diol. The isocyanate including isocyanate monomers, isocyanate polymers or isocyanate prepolymers or a mixture thereof, the isocyanate monomers, isocyanate polymers and the isocyanate prepolymers having two or more isocyanate groups per molecule. The method further includes incorporating an artificial turf fiber into a carrier such that a first portion of the fiber protrudes to the front side of the carrier and that a second portion of the fiber is located at the back side of the carrier, adding the fluid polyurethane mass on the back side of the carrier, and hardening the fluid polyurethane mass.

An aqueous polyurethane dispersion includes particles of polyurethane in water, wherein the polyurethane is derived from an organic diisocyanate, a hydrophilic monomer, a neutralizer, a chain extender, and a polyester resin, the polyester resin being a random copolymer having randomly distributed subunits of formula 1: ##STR00001##
where: R is ethylene, octylene, or decylene, a is from about 40 to about 100 mole % of the polyester resin, b is from 0 to about 30 mole % of the polyester resin, c is from 0 to about 30 mole % of the polyester resin, and a+b+c=100 mole % of the polyester resin.
SHEET MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a sheet-like article which has a good balance between soft texture and excellent light resistance; and a method for producing this sheet-like article. In order to achieve this purpose, a sheet-like article according to the present invention has the following configuration. Specifically, a sheet-like article which contains a polymer elastic body in a fibrous base material, wherein: the fibrous base material is composed of ultrafine fibers that have an average single fiber diameter of from 0.1 μm to 10 μm; the polymer elastic body has a hydrophilic group, while containing a polyether diol as a constituent; the polymer elastic body internally has an N-acylurea bond and/or an isourea bond; and the condition 1 and the condition 2 described below are satisfied. Condition 1: The bending resistance in the lengthwise direction as determined in accordance with specific standards is from 40 mm to 140 mm. Condition 2: The abrasion weight loss after 20,000 cycles of a Martindale abrasion test set forth in JIS L 1096 (2005) after a light resistance test as performed under the conditions defined in accordance with specific standards is 25 mg or less.
Artificial Leather and Production Method Therefor
Provided is an artificial leather that has texture (stiffness), a luxuriant feel (dispersibility of fiber bundles), and a slick feel (resin clusters of appropriate size) and can be used suitably as a seat cover material or interior design material for interiors, cars, airplanes, railway cars, etc. and garment accessory products. This artificial leather comprises a fiber sheet and a polyurethane resin and is characterized in that: the fiber sheet comprises at least a fiber layer (A) that forms a first outer surface of the artificial leather; the k-nearest neighbor distance proportion (k=9, radius r=20 μm) between cross-sections of single fibers configuring the fiber layer (A) in a thickness direction cross-section of the artificial leather is 10-80%; the cross-sectional polyurethane resin area ratio in a thickness direction cross-section of the fiber layer (A) is 10-30%; and the standard deviation of the cross-sectional polyurethane resin area ratio in a thickness direction cross-section of the fiber layer (A) is 25% or less.
POLYESTER BASE FABRIC FOR AIRBAGS
The present invention is to provide a polyester fabric for airbags famed from a polyester fiber, which can reduce costs, and the polyester fabric for airbags has high restraint performance for receiving the occupant during deployment and maintains the performance at high levels even after aging, while maintaining the mechanical characteristics as a fabric for airbags. The solution to the object is to provide a polyester fabric for airbags having a coating resin on at least one surface characterized in that the polyester fabric has an optimized crimp ratio and has scrub test strokes of 400 or more after aging treatment at 70° C. at 95% RH for 408 hours.
Synthetic leather
The present invention is a synthetic leather including a base fabric (i), an intermediate layer (ii), and a skin layer (iii), in which the intermediate layer (ii) is formed of an aqueous urethane resin composition (C) containing a urethane resin (A) and an aqueous medium (B), the urethane resin (A) is a reaction product of a polyol (a1) containing a polyol (a1-1) having an anionic group and an aromatic polyisocyanate (a2), and has an anionic group in a concentration of 0.35 mmol/g or less, the skin layer (iii) is formed of an aqueous urethane resin composition (Z) containing a urethane resin (X) and an aqueous medium (Y), and the urethane resin (X) is a reaction product obtained by using a polyol (b1), a reactive silicone (b2) having a functional group which reacts with an isocyanate group, and a polyisocyanate (b3) as essential raw materials.
3D printed articles of footwear with particles
The present invention generally relates to methods of printing articles using three-dimensional printing and other printing techniques, and to articles formed from such techniques, including the printing of articles of footwear containing particles. Certain embodiments are generally directed to composites comprising particles (e.g., reinforcing particles), for example, rubber particles. The particles may be used, for example, to increase slip or abrasion resistance. The composites may also contain polyurethanes or other compounds, e.g., to facilitate fabrication, e.g., using three-dimensional printing and other printing techniques. Other embodiments are directed to methods of making or using such articles. For example, in some embodiments, a composite may be prepared by mixing particles (e.g., reinforcing particles) with at least a first fluid and a second fluid within a nozzle, such as a microfluidic printing nozzle, which may be used to direct the resulting product onto a substrate.
MOISTURE-PERMEABLE WATERPROOF FABRIC
A moisture-permeable waterproof fabric includes: a cloth (i), an adhesive layer (ii), and a surface skin layer (iii). The adhesive layer (ii) is formed from a moisture-curable polyurethane hot melt resin composition that contains a urethane prepolymer (C) having an isocyanate group, and the urethane prepolymer (C) is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate (B) and a polyol (A) containing a biomass-derived polyester polyol (a1). The surface skin layer (iii) is formed from a urethane resin composition that contains a urethane resin (R) containing a polyol (P) and a polyisocyanate (Q) as essential raw materials thereof, and the polyol (P) contains a polyol (P1) having an oxyethylene group and a specific polyester polyol (P2).
