Conductive polymeric composition and fiber yarn

A conductive polymeric composition includes, based on a total weight of the conductive polymeric composition, 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of carbon nanotubes, 0.2 wt % to 4 wt % of a first component, 0.1 wt % to 4 wt % of a second component made by esterification of a C.sub.16-C.sub.30 fatty acid with a polyol compound, and the balance being a polymeric component. When the first component is a first polymer obtained from polycondensation of an aromatic diacid compound and an aliphatic glycol compound, the polymeric component is a polyester. When the first component is a second polymer obtained from polycondensation of a lactam compound, a diamine compound and a dicarboxylic acid compound, the polymeric component is a polyamide.

RECYCLED POLYESTER FILAMENT AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR

A recycled polyester filament and preparation method therefor are disclosed. In the process of preparing a fiber from a recycled polyester according to the FDY process, the ring-blowing is used for cooling, and the distribution of spinneret holes on the spinneret is controlled to meet certain conditions, then the recycled polyester filament is obtained by relaxation heat treatment after a fully drawn yarn is produced. The spinneret holes are C-shaped spinneret holes and circular spinneret holes, the cross-section of the C-shaped spinneret hole is composed of an outer arc, an inner arc, and two line segments, and two endpoints of the outer arc are A and B respectively; wherein the certain conditions include: all the spinneret holes are distributed in concentric circles, and the C-shaped spinneret holes are located on the outermost circle, rotating at different angles and randomly distributed.

FLAT-KNITTED THREE-DIMENSIONAL FABRIC WITH INTERNAL SUPPORT STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME

A flat-knitted three-dimensional fabric with an internal support structure, and the fabric is consisted of an upper surface layer, a lower surface layer, and a support structure yarn in a middle, wherein the upper surface layer and the lower surface layer comprise alternate-knitted single-sided stitches and fully-knitted single-sided stitches; the upper surface layer and the lower surface layer are connected by means of tuck knitting of the support structure yarn in the middle to form the integrally formed three-dimensional fabric with an internal support structure; and the alternate-knitted single-sided stitches are correspond to tuck loops formed by the support structure yarn and are used to lock the tuck loops formed by the support structure yarn in the middle, such that the support structure yarn will not puncture the surfaces of the fabric when the fabric is pressed.

Various implementations include a melt-spun filament that has a radial cross section that has two substantially parallel linear perimetrical sections and first and second curved perimetrical sections. The first curved perimetrical section extends between first ends of the linear perimetrical sections, and the second curved perimetrical section extends between second ends of the linear perimetrical sections. The curved perimetrical sections are convex. According to some embodiments, the curved perimetrical sections are semi-circular or semi-elliptical. A plurality of melt-spun filaments may be included in a bundle of filaments and/or a yarn made with the melt-spun filaments. In addition, a spinneret plate for spinning the melt-spun filaments and a method of making the melt-spun filaments is also provided.

NONWOVEN MATERIAL FOR COSMETIC CUSHION COMPACT

A nonwoven material formed of bicomponent fibers may be used as a cosmetic cushion to hold cosmetic compositions, such as liquid foundation, in a housing for consumer use with an applicator. The use of bicomponent fibers may allow for the utilization of various natural or synthetic materials for the core and shell which may be adjusted for greatest compatibility with cosmetic compositions. Bicomponent fibers forming nonwoven materials may be a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) core/polyethylene (PE) shell composition. This PET/PE composition may allow for maximum stability and chemical resistance in combination with aggressive chemical ingredients. Cosmetic cushions using these nonwoven materials may feel sensationally pleasing to the consumer and perform with the best quality throughout the lifetime of the product. The cosmetic cushion also may look aesthetically pleasing when filled or saturated with product.

Method for the treatment of single-filament polyethylene terephthalate cords for the reinforcing layers of a pneumatic tyre comprising (a) an adhesive solution coating step, wherein the single filament cord is immersed in an adhesive solution; (b) a drying step, wherein the cord covered in adhesive resin is held within a drying oven at a temperature of between 120 and 180° C.; and (c) a thermobonding step wherein the cord, proceeding from the drying step, is arranged within an oven at a temperature of between 230 and 260° C. for a period of between 30 and 90 seconds. During the thermobonding step, the single filament cord is subjected to a tension of between 8 and 12 mN/dtex.

ELECTROCHROMIC WIRE THREAD AND RELATIVE FABRICS

The present invention is directed to eyectrochromic, supercapacitor yarns and the related fabrics. An electrochromic yarn formed by two interwind threads has been invented. The yarn is electrically isolated by a transparent, uncolored polymer. Each thread is the superposition of three concentric layers. The most internal one, the core, has the function of support and/or conductive layer, the second one is the eiectrochromic layer containing conductive nanoparticies, the third layer is a polymer dielectric blend. The yarns described above allows to generate electrochromic fabrics in which the colour can be varied by the application of small electric voltages fed by a battery with variable power supply controlled by a microprocessor connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth technology. A specific application on the smartphone allows to change the voltage supply to the fabrics, in order to get the desired chromatic change.
