METHOD FOR TRACK RENEWAL
In a method for renewing a track (2) and cleaning a ballast bed (3), the old track (2) is lifted off the ballast bed in sections as a track panel (15), transported forward in a working direction (4) and deposited on track panel wagons (8). The exposed ballast bed (3), forming a renewal gap (17), is cleaned by a cleaning machine (11), spoil (32) accruing in the process is transported forward underneath the track panels (15) deposited on the track panel wagons (8), and stored in hopper cars (10). New rails (29), pre-deposited underneath new sleepers (27) positioned on sleeper wagons (14), are pulled forward into the renewal gap (17) by the cleaning machine (11) and deposited on the cleaned ballast bed (3). The new sleepers (27) are laid down on the cleaned ballast bed and connected to the new rails (29) lifted off the ballast bed (3).
Automated tie marking
A system and method for automating railroad maintenance for a tie gang using electronic tie marking (ETM) configured to optimize railroad asset maintenance. The system enables the automating of an adaptive maintenance process for the asset that is being maintainanced. The system can identify a railroad asset scheduled for maintenance using various forms of inspection including real-time kinematic (RTK)-corrected GPS data, radar signal processing data, and real-time imaging. The system also provides for the acquisition and upload of asset pictures for verification and analysis of a railroad asset. The system can identify a next location to perform maintenance and can calculate an optimum path based on sensor input incorporating machine-specific and environmental characteristics. The system further can provide a customizable user interface to identify, track, and process information related to maintenance of the railroad asset.

Mobile crane systems and methods
Systems and methods for a mobile crane are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for a mobile crane that is designed to enable easy transportation on a railcar to and from a job site. The mobile crane facilitates quick changing between a transport configuration and a work configuration to enable increased productivity. The mobile crane is configured to be modular and thereby be configured to include various lifting and object manipulating features, as required by a specific application.
Apparatus for lifting and moving a rail
A rail lifting head (10) comprises a head gate member (20) defining a gate aperture (22), a rail support member (24) removably secured to the gate member (20) and adapted to support a rail vertically within the gate aperture (22), and a head cartridge (100) which is removably secured to the head gate member (20). The head cartridge (100) includes two opposed vertical rollers (128) which support a rail laterally within the gate aperture and a fixing (112) which secures the head cartridge (100) to the head gate member (20). The rail support member (24) is removable from the head gate member (20).

Track maintenance wagon for picking up and/or laying track panels
A track maintenance wagon (1) for picking up and/or laying a track panel (10), comprising a wagon frame (2) supported on on-track undercarriages (4), wherein two longitudinal beams (7) of the wagon frame (2) delimit a free opening and are transversely displaceable relative to one another, so that the free opening is changeable as to its width and, in a working position, has greater opening dimensions as a horizontal projection of the track panel (19), and wherein crane rails (8) are arranged on the longitudinal beams (7) for a gantry crane (11) mobile in the longitudinal direction (3) of the wagon. In this, buffers (13) are arranged at two free ends (12) of the longitudinal beams (7).
