FLUID SPRAY SYSTEM TIMING CONTROL
In some implementations, a controller may receive an input that indicates a proportion of a spray cycle in which a fluid spray system is to be active. The fluid spray system may include at least a first fluid pump configured to supply fluid to a first fluid spray bar and a second fluid pump configured to supply fluid to a second fluid spray bar. The controller may determine, in accordance with the proportion, a spraying timing for the first fluid pump and the second fluid pump that minimizes an overlap of an active time of the first fluid pump and an active time of the second fluid pump, and/or an overlap of an inactive time of the first fluid pump and an inactive time of the second fluid pump. The controller may cause activation of the first fluid pump and the second fluid pump in accordance with the spraying timing.
Pavement coating system having shiftable spray bar
A coating applicator vehicle is configured to selectively discharge a flow of liquid emulsion and aggregate onto a roadway. The vehicle includes a rolling chassis and a powered spraying assembly supported by the chassis. The spraying assembly includes a spray bar assembly including a shiftable spray boom and a plurality of spray nozzles.
INTEGRAL MELTER AND PUMP SYSTEM FOR THE APPLICATION OF BITUMINOUS ADHESIVES AND HIGHWAY CRACK-SEALING MATERIALS, AND A METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
An integral melter and pump assembly or system, and a method of making the same, is disclosed wherein the pump assembly comprises a melter housing having a melter container defined within the melter housing. A pump mounting plate is integrally mounted within a side wall portion of the melter container and an output dispensing supply pump is mounted directly upon an external surface portion of the pump mounting plate in a surface-to-surface manner such that heat generated internally within the melter container is effectively transferred by conduction from the melter container and through the pump mounting plate such that the temperature level of the output pump is elevated to, and maintained at, a predeterminedly desired level even when the pump, is not disposed in its output dispensing mode. In addition, since the output dispensing or material supply pump is disposed externally of the melter container and the melter housing, the output dispensing or material supply pump is easily and readily accessible in case maintenance becomes necessary. Optionally, an oil jacket or chamber can surround the melter container so as to more evenly or consistently provide heating of the melter container.
Portable Water Spreader
A portable water spreader has a water tank with a coupler to couple to and be elevated and tilted by a front-end loader. Discharge pipes are coupled to the tank with spray heads. Vent pipes are coupled to the tank.
Pothole patcher with emulsion oil rejuvenator system
A portable device for transporting asphalt repair materials for use in repairing potholes in asphalt pavements. The device has a body with a hopper compartment for transporting and dispensing asphalt mix materials. Emulsion oils are held and dispensed from a separate emulsion oil tank. An emulsion pump provides emulsion oils to a spray wand. The emulsion oil tank includes an emulsion rejuvenator apparatus which works to prevent separation of the emulsion oils. A control circuit actuates the rejuvenator any time that the emulsion pump is turned on to supply emulsion oils to a spray wand to spray emulsions onto the road repair site.
MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION
A machine is disclosed for use building a road. The machine may include a vehicle, and a distribution arrangement mounted to the vehicle and configured to distribute a material on to a surface as the vehicle moves over the surface. The machine may also include at least one sensor mounted to the vehicle and configured to generate a signal indicative of a texture of the surface during movement of the vehicle over the surface, a locating device configured to detect a location of the texture, and a controller. The controller may be specially programmed to determine an amount of the material to be applied to the location of the texture based on the signal, and to automatically cause the distribution arrangement to distribute the amount of the material on to the surface at the location of the texture as the vehicle moves over the surface.
Method, apparatus and system for producing a polyurethane sports flooring
A method for producing polyurethane flooring includes providing polyurethane reactive components including a isocyanate component and a polyol component, determining environmental data, determining process parameters for mixing the polyurethane reactive components, wherein the process parameters depend on the environmental data, mixing the foam for the polyurethane flooring by mixing the isocyanate component and the polyol component using a froth foam process with the process parameters, applying a first lane of the liquid foam to a ground, applying a second lane of the liquid foam to the ground, wherein a side edge of the second lane gets in contact with a side edge of the first lane, wherein the process parameter are determined so that the foam of the first lane is not cured before applying the foam of the second lane. Furthermore, the invention relates to an apparatus and a system for producing a polyurethane flooring.
Pothole Patcher With Emulsion Oil Rejuvenator System
A portable device is shown for transporting asphalt repair materials for use in repairing potholes in asphalt pavements.
