SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LEVELLING AND GRIPPING A JACKET LEG INTO A HOLLOW FOUNDATION PILE
A system for levelling and gripping a jacket leg into a hollow foundation pile has a levelling assembly for adjusting the longitudinal axis of a jacket leg partially inserted in a hollow foundation pile with an actuation group arranged about the jacket leg and configured to exert a force parallel to the longitudinal axis between the upper edge of the hollow foundation pile and the jacket leg and selectively attachable to the jacket leg and recoverable for further use in another levelling assembly; and a gripping assembly for locking the jacket leg in a designated position with respect to the hollow foundation pile once leveled.
ENGAGING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an apparatus for engaging a first body with a second body, for example, for locking an oil rig platform to a rig leg. The apparatus comprises a driving portion, for example in the form of a driving wedge, which is moveably attachable to the first body, and an engaging portion, for example in the form of an engaging wedge, which is moveably attached to the driving portion. The driving portion is adapted to move in a first direction with respect to the second body and the engaging portion defines an engaging profile adapted to engage a complementary profile on the second body. Movement of the driving portion results in movement of the engaging portion. The apparatus also comprises an adjustment device connecting the driving portion to the engaging portion and adapted to move the engaging portion independently of the driving portion.
Engaging apparatus
The present invention relates to an apparatus for engaging a first body with a second body, for example, for locking an oil rig platform to a rig leg. The apparatus comprises a driving portion, for example in the form of a driving wedge, which is moveably attachable to the first body, and an engaging portion, for example in the form of an engaging wedge, which is moveably attached to the driving portion. The driving portion is adapted to move in a first direction with respect to the second body and the engaging portion defines an engaging profile adapted to engage a complementary profile on the second body. Movement of the driving portion results in movement of the engaging portion. The apparatus also comprises an adjustment device connecting the driving portion to the engaging portion and adapted to move the engaging portion independently of the driving portion.

Clamp system, gripping device therefore and method of using the clamp system
In a clamp system for a slender object (16), such as a pile or pipe and the like, a clamp (1) and the object are to be applied around one another. The clamp has a frame (4) defining an axial direction. Furthermore, gripping devices (3) are provided which are spaced in circumferential direction of the frame (4). A stop (25) defines an end position of the gripping device (3), the gripping device (3) in gripping state and positioned in the end position prevents the object (16) from displacing with respect to the frame (4) in a first axial direction of the passage (9), in which first axial direction the gripping device (3) is held pressed against the stop (25), and the gripping device (3) allowing the object (16) to displace with respect to the frame in the second axial direction opposite the first axial direction.
