METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REMOTELY MONITORING WASTEWATER IN MANHOLE OF UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE NETWORK AND ALERTING
The present disclosure relates to wastewater management that provides method and system for monitoring sewer manhole from a remote location. Sewer monitoring system configured in a sewer manhole receives measured values from level sensor and determines accuracy error in the measured values for different conditions. Thereafter, sewer monitoring system resolves the accuracy error in the measured values to obtain accurate measured values by either measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting first range limit for the measured values dynamically based on actual depth of sewer manhole, or iteratively measuring level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting unique second range limit for the measured values dynamically. Finally, a risk associated with the sewer manhole based on the accurate measured values of the level sensor is determined, for monitoring the sewer manhole from a remote location.
Height adjustment mechanism for a manhole assembly and manhole assembly comprising the same
There is provided a height adjustment mechanism for a manhole assembly. The height adjustment mechanism includes an annular lower body having a bore. The height adjustment mechanism includes an annular upper body shaped to selectively fit partially within the bore of the lower body. A first of the lower body and the upper body includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart recessed receptacles of varying depths. A second of the lower body and the upper body includes at least one protrusion extending outwards therefrom. The at least one protrusion is shaped to at least partially fit within respective ones of the receptacles.
EXTENSION PIPE FOR MANHOLE COVER
A manhole cover assembly for a sewer, the manhole cover assembly including a manhole cover having a top surface and a bottom surface. An opening extends through the manhole cover between the top surface and the bottom surface. The assembly further includes an extension pipe coaxially aligned with the opening of the manhole cover and extending from the top surface of the manhole cover, wherein the extension pipe is coupled to the manhole cover with a locking mechanism.
TEMPORARY MANHOLE COVER AND METHOD
Provided are various examples of a temporary manhole cover and its methods of use configured to prevent an entire person from falling into a manhole, while providing a unique structure, adjustable in some embodiments, that allows access for a user to simultaneously reach through and/or pass objects through the temporary manhole cover when it is installed in a manhole. The structure may include an annular perimeter portion optionally having an L-shaped cross-section defining a circular interior opening there-through, a first set of two parallel laterally-separated cross-members each attached with and extending across the circular opening, and a second set of two parallel laterally-separated cross-members each extending perpendicularly between and attached with the first set of two parallel laterally-separated cross-members.
CLOSURE SYSTEMS, DEBRIS CAPS, HOLDER DEVICES, AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES
A cap assembly can include a cap holder device with a plug member and a cap holder. The cap holder device is positionable in an end of a conduit positioned along a roadway. The cap holder is carried by the plug member and includes a magnetic element and a connector. The connector is connectable to the magnetic element to the plug member such that the magnetic element is movable relative to the plug member so as to position the magnetic element for releasably holding a cap that covers the end of the conduit when the plug member is positioned in the conduit. The cap assembly can be a debris cap insertable in a conduit, an end of a pipe, or other opening.
Manhole with height/inclination-adjustable manhole cover
The present disclosure relates to a manhole with a manhole cover that can be adjusted in height and inclination in the entire structure. A manhole with a height/inclination-adjustable manhole cover includes: a manhole cover; a cover base closing the top of the manhole cover and having a pipe shape; a support having a pipe shape and radially overlapping the cover base; and an insertion disposed between the cover base and the support in the radial direction of the cover base and preventing movement of the cover base relative to the support through a wedge effect.
FLOATING FOUNDATION
A lift system and method for supporting a structure. The lift system includes a first buoyant sponson tank comprising a sponson tank that extends from a first end to a second end, a mechanical assembly extending from the second end of the sponson tank, the mechanical assembly to transfer a load of a structure disposed on the mechanical assembly to the sponson tank. The sponson tank is configured to be displaced by a volume of fluid that is external to the tank and the tank provides a predetermined buoyant force against the structure to cause the structure to be displaced vertically.
Height-adjustable fixtures for buried tubulars and methods of adjusting the height-adjustable fixtures
Height-adjustable fixtures for buried tubulars and methods of adjusting the height-adjustable fixtures. The height-adjustable fixtures include a frame and a plurality of slot nuts. The frame has an upper frame surface, a lower frame surface, a flange that defines a plurality of slots, and a central opening that extends between the upper frame surface and the lower frame surface. The central opening is sized to provide access to a buried tubular conduit of the buried tubular. Each slot nut is shaped to be received within a corresponding slot. In some examples, each slot nut defines a lower nut surface, an upper nut surface, and a neck region positioned between the lower nut surface and the upper nut surface. In some examples, when each slot nut is received within the corresponding slot, the lower nut surface is recessed within the corresponding slot.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR A MANHOLE ASSEMBLY AND MANHOLE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING THE SAME
There is accordingly provided a height adjustment mechanism for a manhole assembly according to one aspect. The height assembly mechanism includes an annular lower body having a threaded interior bore. The height assembly mechanism includes an annular insert threadably engageable with the lower body. The height assembly mechanism includes an annular upper body threadably engageable with and extending outwards from the lower body. Abutting of the upper body with the insert fixes positioning of the upper body.
There is also provided a height adjustment mechanism for a manhole assembly according to another aspect. The height assembly mechanism includes an annular lower body having a threaded interior bore. The height assembly mechanism includes an annular upper body threadably engageable with and extending outwards from the lower body. The annular upper body includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart, radially inwardly-extending protrusions.
