The invention relates to a pile joint, which comprises a first concrete pile, a second concrete pile, and a coupling system therebetween for connecting and locking the concrete piles relative to each other. The coupling system includes a lock housing and a lock spindle connectible to each other and provided with transverse holes in such a way that the lock housing's transverse holes and the lock spindle's transverse hole settle substantially in line with each other for receiving a locking pin when the lock housing and the lock spindle are connected to each other. In addition, the lock housing is provided with a locking ring for retaining the locking pin in a position locking the lock housing and the lock spindle to each other. For ensuring the pipe joint's installation and durability there is in alignment with a first transverse hole of the lock housing a guidance pipe and in alignment with a second transverse hole of the lock housing, opposite to its first hole, a locking seat closed at one end and intended for the locking ring. The locking ring is adapted to be movable in a groove included in the locking seat and the locking pin is provided with a recess in the lengthwise direction of the locking pin to receive the locking ring.

Disclosed is a pile connection with an open collar section. The pile connection includes a collar configured to attach to an elongated beam extending along a beam axis, the collar comprising a primary collar section defining a gap, the primary collar section configured to partially surround the elongated beam. The pile connection further includes a first pile sleeve comprising a first inlet, a first outlet, and a first outer surface extending therebetween, at least a portion of the first outer surface attached to the primary collar section, the first pile sleeve configured to receive a first pile.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PREFABRICATED STEEL FOUNDATIONS TO BE PLACED BY DRIVING
20230075624 · 2023-03-09 ·

The present invention relates to a method and a system for making prefabricated foundations ready to be driven into the ground, these foundations have the fundamental characteristic of increasing the size of the reacting pressure “bulb” in the ground compared to the currently known fixed foundations, in fact, compared to a traditional foundation fixed in the ground, in which the area of the foundation section is constant, the present invention allows to increase this area by increasing it during the insertion of the foundation itself.

Steel pipe coupling device for steel pipes

A coupling device includes male and female couplings having first and second circumferential grooves on surfaces of the respective couplings that face each other when the couplings are fitted together. The coupling device further includes an engaging member. When the male coupling is pushed into the female coupling, the engaging member is retracted into the second groove, allowing the male coupling to be inserted into the female coupling, and when the couplings are fitted together, the engaging member is pushed into the first groove by coil springs so as to be fitted into both of the groove, thereby preventing separation of the male and female couplings in the axial direction. Countersunk head screws support respective divided pieces of the engaging member. Slotted head setscrews are screwed in at boundaries between the adjacent divided pieces to press the divided pieces against the bottom of the first groove.

Coupler for helical pile and tieback support systems
11668064 · 2023-06-06 · ·

A coupler for a helical pile system is described. The coupler includes at least two sections of square tube. A first section is nested within and affixed to the second section. The first section may further include an inner width by which the first section is configured to receive two pieces of rectangular bar stocks of a helical pile system. The at least two sections each include at least two pairs of aligned through holes, for receiving first and second bolts. By the first bolt and second bolts, the two pieces of rectangular bar stock may be coupled. The first section may thus transfer torsion between the two pieces of rectangular bar stock, such as when screwing the helical pile system into the earth.

FOUNDATION PIER SYSTEM AND METHOD

A concentrically loaded foundation pier system which includes several concentrically stacked steel pipes filled with concrete. The entire pier is installed centrally beneath the footing of the structure. Shims are placed between the top-most pier element and a pier cap which prevents shifting when the soil expands and contracts. The final structure is end-loaded and pressed to the bedrock or other load-bearing strata. An alternative embodiment includes a temporary lifting assembly which can be fastened about the structural pier without need for bolts or other fasteners.
