TRENCHER WITH A DETACHABLE DIGGING BOX
20220195695 · 2022-06-23 ·

A trencher includes a drive mechanism, a detachable digging box, and a digging support member. The detachable digging box receives power from an intermediate drive member transferring power from the drive mechanism to a trenching chain coupled to the detachable digging box. The drive mechanism and the detachable digging box are coupled to the intermediate drive member. The digging box support member includes a first end and a second end. The digging box support member is pivotably coupled to the detachable digging box at the first end of the digging box support member via a detachable coupler and pivotably coupled to a frame of the trencher at the second end of the digging box support member. The detachable digging box is detachable from the digging box support member via the detachable coupler without decoupling the intermediate drive member from the trencher.

Latching system for dipper

A latching system associated with a dipper door of a dipper includes a latch bar that engages with a body of the dipper. The latch bar defines a longitudinal axis. The latch bar includes a housing, one or more shims, and a wear member removably coupled to the housing. The wear member defines a wear surface and a wear axis extending parallel to the wear surface. An angle defined between the wear axis and the longitudinal axis is less than 45 degrees. The latching system also includes an arm member pivotally coupled to the dipper door such that the arm member is pivotable along a first pivot plane. The arm member contacts a portion of the latch bar for moving the latch bar along the longitudinal axis. The latching system includes a guide assembly having a guide pulley and an actuation member that causes pivoting of the arm member.

LINK FOR AN EXCAVATING CHAIN AND ASSOCIATED EXCAVATING CHAIN

A link for an excavating chain for a ballast excavating device below a railroad track, the link comprising a body extending longitudinally between a front end and a rear end and being crossed by at least one front through-hole and a rear through-hole configured to receive hinge means with an adjacent link of the chain, the front and rear through-holes extending along axes parallel to each other and contained in a reference plane of the body, the link further comprising, on an inner side of the body with respect to the reference plane opposite to the outer side, a concave guide surface extending over an envelope having an axis generator parallel to the axes of the link joints, the guide surface being configured to at least locally match a curvature of a return member of the excavating device.

Dirt Screening Bucket Attachment Device
20220002967 · 2022-01-06 ·

The present invention relates generally to a dirt screening bucket attachment device for use with an existing bucket of a skid steer, or other similar type of earth-moving machinery. More specifically, the device can be readily attached/detached to the existing bucket of the skid steer to allow a user to quickly and efficiently screen dirt, topsoil and other materials for rocks, roots and other unwanted debris by moving and articulating the bucket of the skid steer with the attachment attached thereto and in an engaged position. In addition, the attachment device may be easily articulated from a position that covers said bucket to a position above said bucket (i.e., thereby leaving the bucket opening exposed) via a hydraulic system that allows a user to utilize the full functionality of the bucket without interference from the bucket attachment device.

The disclosed invention facilitates the removal of dirt and other sediment from a bucket of heavy machinery. With regular use, buckets build up dirt that decreases the available volume. Removing the dirt can require additional equipment and labor, and would require the heavy machinery to be away from the service area. The disclosed invention allows for rapid removal of the dirt on site with a single piece of equipment.

DREDGE SYSTEM

A dredge system includes a dredger, a conduit and a self-priming pump. The dredger has an internal area and an outlet, and is configured to feed material into the internal area of the dredger. The conduit is coupled to the dredger adjacent the outlet and configured to transport the material from the internal area of the dredger to a receptacle. The self-priming pump is coupled to the conduit and is configured to pump the material from the outlet to the receptacle.

Method and apparatus for controlling excavator

A method and an apparatus for controlling an excavator are provided according to the embodiments. The method includes: determining, according to preset value ranges of trajectory parameters in at least two trajectory parameters, trajectory parameter value combinations, to obtain a first trajectory parameter value combination set; determining, from the first trajectory parameter value combination set, trajectory parameter value combinations for moving from a preset starting position to a preset end position, to obtain a second trajectory parameter value combination set; determining, in the second trajectory parameter value combination set, a trajectory parameter value combination that satisfies a preset excavation condition, to obtain a third trajectory parameter value combination set; determining a target excavation trajectory from the third trajectory parameter value combination set; and sending a control instruction to the excavator to enable the excavator to excavate material according to the target excavation trajectory.
