Apparatus and Method for Installing Subsurface Tubing
An apparatus for installing multiple strands of hose below a surface of terrain is provided. The apparatus comprises a chassis and rotating trenching blade assemblies connected to the chassis. The trenching blade assemblies are configured to dig parallel trenches when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain. Curved hose guides are connected to the chassis in trailing positions behind the trenching blades. Each hose guide receives hose from a hose reel on reel mounts connected to the chassis and deposits the hose into a trench dug by a trenching blade assembly. Trench fillers connected to the chassis trail the hose guides. Each trench filler is aligned with a respective hose guide and comprises a number of blades configured to push soil excavated from a trench back into the trench when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain.
DITCH DIGGING AND DITCH CLEANING APPARATUS
A ditch digging and cleaning apparatus comprising a housing adapted for being moved along a longitudinal axis of the ditch. The housing has an inlet opening at a bottom front portion thereof for transmitting therethrough debris disposed in the ditch and an outlet opening at an upper portion thereof. An impeller is disposed in the housing and rotatably movable mounted thereto. The impeller receives the debris from the inlet opening and propels the same through the outlet opening. A drive is connected to the impeller for driving the same, the drive has a power of at least 30 hp.
TRENCH CUTTER
The invention relates to a trench cutter having at least one pair of cutting wheels, at least one bearing plate on which the cutting wheels of a pair are rotatably arranged on the two sides of the bearing plate, a base frame on the underside of which the at least one bearing plate is attached, and a cutting wheel drive for driving the cutting wheels via a transmission lubricated with transmission oil in the bearing plate. According to the invention it is provided that at least one heat exchanger is arranged above the bearing plate and that for cooling the transmission oil, an oil circuit is formed to which the at least one heat exchanger is connected above the bearing plate.

Cutting wheel system (1) for a dredging device, comprising a cutting wheel (2) and a cutting wheel drive system (8), whereby the cutting wheel comprises at least two cutting element rings (3), which rings are positioned at a distance from each other in parallel planes whereby the cutting element rings have coaxial rotation axes (12,13), whereby a suction tube (7) can be positioned between the two cutting element rings (3), whereby the cutting wheel drive system is arranged to rotate the cutting wheel about the coaxial rotation axes, wherein the cutting wheel system further comprises connecting arms (9) for mounting the cutting wheel in a rotatable manner to the dredging device, wherein the connecting arms are moveable with respect to each other between a closed position wherein the connecting arms engage the cutting wheel from opposite sides of the cutting wheel, and an open position wherein the cutting wheel is released from the connecting arms.
DRIVE DEVICE FOR A DIAPHRAGM WALL CUTTER
The invention relates to a drive device for a diaphragm wall cutter, with a hydraulic motor, a gear unit, to which at least one cutting wheel of the diaphragm wall cutter can be connected on the output side, and a drive shaft which connects the hydraulic motor to the gear unit, wherein the drive shaft is mounted by way of at least one drive shaft bearing which is arranged between the hydraulic motor and the gear unit, wherein the drive shaft bearing has a lubricant feed line which is connected to a leakage discharge line of the hydraulic motor and/or to the hydraulic circuit in order to operate the hydraulic motor, and is configured to lubricate the drive shaft bearing with hydraulic oil.

The present invention relates to a special civil engineering machine, in particular a slurry wall cutter, comprising at least one rotating tool and a tool drive that is arranged within a housing of the special civil engineering machine and is sealed with respect to the environment by means of at least one bearing seal in the region of its shaft exit from the housing to the driven tool, characterized in that the bearing seal comprises at least two separate sealing elements, whose arrangement forms a sealing chamber located between the sealing elements, wherein a pressure compensation device is provided, which controls the chamber pressure in the sealing chamber in dependence on the ambient pressure of the special civil engineering machine.

Trenching system with hydraulically adjustable hub
A system for uncovering a trench. The system comprises several subsystems, including a work machine and a frame for providing a seal with the surface to be trenched with a saw blade contained therein. The blade is supported on a hub which is slidably movable relative to the frame by operation of a linear actuator, which may be a hydraulic cylinder or the like. The vertical location of the blade within the frame is continuously adjustable to create a deeper or shallower trench. A monitoring system is provided to monitor the vertical location from an operator station.
DRIVE DEVICE FOR A DIAPHRAGM WALL CUTTER
The present invention relates to a drive device for a diaphragm wall cutter (1), having a drive housing and/or gear housing (11), which encloses an interior (16) for accommodating drive and/or gear elements and comprises two housing parts (13, 14) which are rotatable relative to one another and which are sealed with respect to one another by a sealing device (15), and having a pressure equalization device (19) for pressure equalization between the interior and the surroundings. The invention also relates to a diaphragm wall cutter having such a drive device. It is proposed here not to pressurize the entire interior of the housing, but only an interspace (20) arranged upstream with respect to the surroundings, and to seal said interspace with respect to the interior on the one hand and with respect to the surroundings on the other hand. According to the invention, the pressure equalization device comprises at least one intermediate chamber (20), which is pressurized by a pressure source and is sealed with respect to the interior by an inner seal (21) and with respect to the surroundings by an outer seal (22). By virtue of such a sealed intermediate chamber between the housing interior and the surroundings that can be considerably smaller in terms of volume than the interior, the pressurization for pressure equalization between interior and surroundings is considerably simpler.
