A quick coupler and methods of coupling and decoupling a quick coupler and work tool are disclosed. The quick coupler includes a frame, cylinder, primary blocking member, secondary blocking member, biasing member, and controller. The method of coupling includes activating an AUTOMATIC LOCKING state, automatically locking a second tool pin within a hook, a first tool pin entering a notch, and activating a LOCKED state. The method of decoupling includes activating the AUTOMATIC LOCKING state, resting the work tool on a surface, activating an UNLOCKED state, and separating the quick coupler and work tool. Advantageously, the quick coupler can automatically lock the second tool pin without actuation of the cylinder.

Bracket for reversibly mounting an excavator bucket on an articulated arm

A bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. A first concavity on a first side of the body substantially has an arc-of-circle shape to conform with a surface of a cylinder and hinge therearound. The bracket comprises a second concavity on a second side of the body opposite the first side with respect to the central portion. A third concavity on the second side of the body substantially has the arc-of-circle shape. The bracket comprises a first abutment edge formed by the central portion of the body; and a second abutment edge aside the first abutment edge and further from the central portion of the body compared to the first abutment edge. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket.

COUPLING APPARATUS

The present invention provides a coupling apparatus for coupling an attachment to a dipper arm of a machine. The apparatus includes a coupler body; a first, fixed engaging means mounted on the coupler body for engaging a first coupling pin of the attachment, in use; a latch member associated with and pivotable with respect to the first, fixed engaging means between latched and unlatched positions; and a locking member pivotable about a pivot point between first and second positions, and provided in mechanical communication with the latch member. The latch member includes an aperture located therethrough, and the locking member includes a trunnion member or other such protrusion located thereon, extending into or through the aperture of the latch member and engaging the same such that when the locking member is in the first position, the latch member is in the latched position, and when the locking member is moved to the second position, the trunnion member moves the latch to the unlatched position.

Quick coupler

A coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.

Quick-change coupler device and quick-change coupler system comprising said quick-change coupler device
11643788 · 2023-05-09 · ·

A quick-change coupler device for coupling and uncoupling implement attachments to and from construction site equipment includes a carrier assembly, first receiving members disposed on one side of the carrier assembly for receiving a first coupling member, second receiving members disposed on the other side of the carrier assembly for receiving a second coupling member, a locking unit dedicated to the second receiving members and capable of moving between a release position and a locking position, and a catch unit disposed on the carrier assembly for catching the implement attachment. To simplify coupling and to ensure an increased safety level, the catch unit comprises at least one catch hook swivel-mounted on the carrier assembly and a control unit controls swivel of the catch hook between a folded-in and a folded-out position. The control unit is actuated by the first coupling member and is actuated independently of the locking unit.

An excavator bucket locking and security device that is engageable with a backfill blade of an excavator. The locking and security device has a connection device for connection to the excavator bucket. The connection device includes an upper pipe for engaging the bucket's upper receptacles. The connection device also has a lower pipe that is positionable next to the bucket's lower receptacles. An insertable pole is insertable through the lower pipe and through the lower bucket receptacles. The locking and security device also includes a pipe connection device for connecting the upper pipe to the lower pipe. A hook is connected to the pipe connection device. The hook is engageable with a backfill blade of an excavator.

COUPLING PIN EXTRACTING APPARATUS AND WORKING MACHINE PROVIDED WITH SAME

Components of a jig are suppressed from coming into contact with a pin hole when a coupling pin is removed from the pin hole, and a length of the jig in a coupling pin axial direction is held down. A coupling pin attaching/detaching apparatus (a coupling pin extracting apparatus) includes a cylinder and a connection member. The cylinder is arranged outside a coupling pin in a radial direction of the coupling pin and is extensible. The connection member is connected to the coupling pin and the cylinder. Extension of the cylinder causes the coupling pin to be extracted from a pin hole via the connection member.
