Quick coupler
A coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release of the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.
PACKER
Quick couplers release one attachment and quickly attach another attachment to the end of the arm. Different attachments are available with differing widths. The attachments comprise of a front and a back pin that are able to engage with the quick coupler. The front pin and/or the back pin are preferably presented mounted to side plates that are secured to the bucket of the attachment. The spacing between the side plates may vary from attachment to attachment. The present invention is a packer that is able to engage with a quick coupler so as to prevent slop when attachments narrower than the quick coupler are used.
Work-tool mounting mechanism and work vehicle
A work-tool mounting mechanism detachably attaches a predetermined work tool that includes an engaged portion including an engagement hole. The mechanism includes: an engaging portion that engages the engaged portion and includes; a lever that is rotatably attached to the engaging portion; a lock pin that is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, the lock pin being inserted into the engagement hole in the locked position, and not inserted into the engagement hole in the unlocked position; and a linking tool that moves the lock pin between the locked position and the unlocked position with a rotation of the lever. The linking tool includes a regulating portion that regulates the lock pin at the locked position from moving to the unlocked position.
MODULAR HYDRAULIC THUMB FOR EXCAVATOR
A modular thumb for a bucket of an excavator arm having a thumb body rotating with respect to the excavator arm. The thumb body has a pair of spaced elongate members and a main body extending between the elongate members. The main body has a bucket side and a non-bucket side. A channel on the non-bucket side and along the elongate members receives at least one of: an actuating arm of a progressive link kit and an actuator of the excavator arm. A tine kit may be welded to the main body.
PIN COUPLER WITH SAFETY LOCK
A pin grabber coupler for coupling an attachment with an excavator having a housing at least between the plates; a rear receiving arch and a forward receiving arch formed by the spaced-apart plates for receiving a pin of the attachment; a wedge lock extending between the spaced-apart plates; and a main actuator driving the wedge lock into the rear receiving arch and retracting the wedge lock from the rear receiving arch. A locking system for locking or unlocking the wedge lock has a latch having a latch end, a lever end, and a pivot therebetween; the latch end engaging the wedge lock once the wedge lock is fully extended into the rear receiving arch; a biasing member coupled to the lever end and biasing the latch end towards the wedge lock; and an unlock actuator opposing the biasing member to disengage the latch end from the wedge lock.
Bracket for reversibly mounting an excavator bucket on an articulated arm
A bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. A first concavity on a first side of the body substantially has an arc-of-circle shape to conform with a surface of a cylinder and hinge therearound. The bracket comprises a second concavity on a second side of the body opposite the first side with respect to the central portion. A third concavity on the second side of the body substantially has the arc-of-circle shape. The bracket comprises a first abutment edge formed by the central portion of the body; and a second abutment edge aside the first abutment edge and further from the central portion of the body compared to the first abutment edge. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket.
QUICK COUPLER WITH FRONT PIN SAFETY LOCK SYSTEM
Quick coupler with front pin safety lock system including body, front pin lock configured to rotate pivotally to lock in a pin, slide ratchet configured to move forward-backward to force the front pin lock to rotate, actuator including a cylinder and a piston rod which moves in the cylinder, rear lock connected to the piston rod, links configured to connect the rear lock and the slide ratchet and casing configured to house a part of the links and a part of the slide ratchet, is provided. It can work even when power is cut off and emergency front pin release can be performed.
COUPLING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF HYDRAULICALLY COUPLING TO A TOOL
A method of coupling a tool to a work machine including inserting a front lug of a coupling assembly into a front recess on the tool, inserting a rear lug of the coupling assembly into a rear recess on the tool, moving a retaining member of the coupler assembly to a retaining position relative to the tool to releasably mount the tool to the work machine, while simultaneously preventing movement of a hydraulic coupling manifold on the coupling assembly from moving; and moving the hydraulic coupling manifold to a coupling position with a hydraulic power transmission coupling on the tool to hydraulically couple the tool to the work machine in response to the retaining member reaching the retaining position.
IMPLEMENT COUPLING DEVICE AND A MACHINE PROVIDED WITH SUCH A DEVICE
The invention relates to an implement coupling device (1) on a working machine (2), which device comprises a coupling means (11) provided with a first shaft (21); an engagement means (12) provided with a second shaft (22) arranged parallel to the first shaft (21); at least one linkage (13, 14) comprising a first portion (23, 24) connected to the first shaft (21) and second portion (25, 26) connected to the second shaft (22), which first and second portions are connected by a pivot joint (27); and a wedge (28) means arranged to be removably mounted between the first and second portions (23, 24; 25, 26), wherein the coupling means (11) and the engagement means (12) are displaceable relative to each other in a direction at right angles to the first and second shafts (21, 22) to attach or release the implement. At least one portion (23, 24; 25, 26) making up a linkage (13, 14) is detachably fixed to its respective shaft (21, 22) by a locking means (31, 32, 33, 34) in a longitudinal recess (41, 42, 43, 44) at right angles to the shaft (21, 22) and engaging with a tangential recess (51, 51′, 51″) in the outer surface of the shaft (21, 22).
I-LOCK COUPLER
A quick coupler which features a safety mechanism which facilitates ease of use and assures safe use in the workplace by use of hydraulic circuits designed to automatically reset the safety locking mechanism on intentional removal of a front pin, including use of a 2-line hydraulic supply to the coupler.
