AN INLET VALVE ARRANGEMENT FOR A TOILET CISTERN

The invention relates to an inlet valve arrangement (10) for a toilet cistern which is configured to regulate and control the flow of water. The arrangement includes a connector (12) which is connectable to an inlet water supply, a valve body (14) which is connected to the connector (12) and defines a valve inlet (16); and a sealing mechanism which includes a sealing member (18) which is displaceable relative to the valve body (14) between an open position in which water is permitted to pass through the valve inlet (16) and a closed position in which the sealing member (18) seals off the valve inlet (16) in order to prevent water from passing through the valve inlet (16). An over-centre linkage (20) is connected to the sealing member (18), movable in over-centre fashion between a first position in which the sealing member (18) is in its open position and a second position in which the sealing member (18) is in its closed position.

A float comprises an outer float wall, an inner guide, and a float base. The float base further comprises an outer perimeter and a disk portion. The disk portion includes a central aperture to allow the float base to move with respect to a sleeve. A plurality of apertures are formed within the disk structure. In addition, a structure is formed within the float base to allow the float base to be captured within a bottom portion of the float at a fastening structure.

FILL VALVE WITH TANK

Delayed shutoff device

A delayed shutoff device comprises a conduit configured to allow a fluid to flow through, wherein the conduit includes a conduit start and a conduit end. The device further comprises a plug configured to be placed inside the conduit at the conduit start; move inside the conduit from the conduit start toward the conduit end when the fluid flows through the conduit; and reduce the fluid flow upon reaching the conduit end. The device is configured to allow a pass-through quantity of the fluid to pass through the conduit while the plug moves from the conduit start to the conduit end. The conduit end may form a seat, the plug being configured to stop moving upon reaching the seat. The plug may be configured to fit the seat imperfectly, to allow a seepage of the fluid after reaching the seat.

Cistern for flushing a toilet with potable and gray water

A cistern comprises an upper water tank as a first chamber, and a lower water tank as a second chamber connected by an opening. At the top of the upper tank a mains water inlet allows mains water into the tank through an inlet valve, which is under the control of an upper float. An auxiliary water inlet allows water from an auxiliary supply, such as condensate from an air-conditioning unit, into the tank. At the bottom of lower tank is an water outlet, which allows flushing water from the lower tank 104 to flush an appliance (not shown) under the control of an outlet valve. The outlet valve is under the control of an actuator, which is configured to move up and down, and is also under the control of a lower float.
