Modular commercial structure
A modular commercial structure includes a first exterior module defining a first interior space therein in which office furnishings are disposed in the first interior space. The first exterior module has an interior elongated side that defines an opening for customers to access to the first interior space. A second exterior module defines a second interior space for conducting business activities therein, including an interior elongated side that opens to facilitate interaction between the customers and employees. A conveyance mechanism moves the first exterior module and the second exterior module between a first position and a second position to prevent access to the first interior space and to the second interior space while in the first position and to provide access to the first interior space and to the second interior space while in the second position.
MOBILE MODULAR DWELLING SYSTEM
A mobile modular dwelling system comprising a floor; a front semicircular sub-assembly secured to the floor, the front semicircular sub-assembly including a pane arrangement; and a rear polygonal sub-assembly also secured to the floor and to the front semicircular sub-assembly. In combination, the front and rear sub-assemblies provide a shelter in the face of prevailing wind and rain, regardless of the direction from which weather may originate, while offering an interior designer a wider latitude of furniture choices than does a semicircular footprint alone.
PORTABLE SEGMENTABLE/EXPANDABLE MODULE STRUCTURES
A modular enclosure structure having at least three walls and comprised of at least three elongated posts selected from at least two elongated upright/vertical posts. Each post has a longitudinal hollow a flexible and durable compacted sheet material therein and wherein a narrow longitudinal through-slot aligned with the free end of each of the compacted sheet materials. Sheet material in each hollow is able to be externally drawn and retracted with manipulation of the free end. The free end of each sheet material has a latching member attached to either an elongated upright/vertical post member, having at least two latching members or to the two elongated posts having hollows and also cooperative latching members, wherein walls of sheet material are externally drawn from the posts with compacted sheet material to form an enclosure comprising at least three walls of sheet material.
MODULAR STRUCTURE SYSTEMS
A method for joining shipping containers together to create a modular structure includes providing a first shipping container and a second shipping container; removing a wall of the side of the first shipper container to create a first opening; removing a wall of the side of the second shipping container to create a second opening; positioning the first opening adjacent and opposite to the second opening; aligning the first opening with the second opening; after the aligning, securing the first shipping container to the second shipping container to create the modular structure; and securing an inner flashing around an inner periphery of the first opening.
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR VOLUMETRIC MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
A modular unit connection system for jointing together pre-fabricated rectangular modular building units to form a multistory building. The building units can be completely fitted out and this connection system allows for positive structural connection using liquid grout filled columns, without bolting or welding and without the requirement for access to the connections from inside the pre-finished building module interiors. The four corner columns of the box-shaped modules are steel square hollow sections. This connection system uses a unique connector tube passing from the bottom of the column above, through a horizontal connector plate containing a guidance system and into the top of the hollow column below, and then a system of grouting the inside of the column, from an access position on top the upper most module to form the final positive structural connection.
Water and Land-Based Modular System for Environmentally Versatile Housing, Shelter and Commercial Use
A sustainable floating and land application community based on a mass-produced modular, pre-fabricated kit of parts referred to as floating modular units (FMU) or land module units (LMU). Both modular units are designed to allow for various needs while remaining simple to deliver and assemble by hand in remote destinations prone to volatile shifts in water levels and currents. Both floating and land module units can be erected for use on land and bodies of water.
System and Method for Hybrid Building Construction for Difficult Sites
A building apparatus, system, and method are disclosed in which a structural core, with a minimal footprint, provide the backbone for building units that are multiples of the size of the footprint of the structural core with minimal additional support. Such units may be combined repeatedly and in various orientations to create more complex systems. The design, configuration, and assembly process disclosed is for a composite structural system that achieves an occupiable space capture through the use of a small footprint 3-D structural box frame that is strong enough to provide the shear strength for multiples of the depth of the frame base from a foundation anchorage merely equal to the size of the structural box frame base. Thus, each structural box frame solves for its own structural performance, or a combination of structural box frames may combine to solve for the combined structural performance. This strategy reduces the structural footprint relative to total occupiable space capture and reduces the number of building parts required to achieve occupiable space capture, which accelerates and simplifies builds, and reduces the staging area demands of construction.
MODULAR CONFIGURABLE STRUCTURAL UNIT SYSTEM
A modular configurable multi-purpose system is provided. The system comprises at least one unit that has at least one room. The units are configured into at least one section, and arranged end to end or as called for in the application. A support section, having at least one support unit, may be provided for providing space for working, storage and other services for those working in the system. The system may be configured in numerous combinations to adapt to the immediate needs of the situation, and installed indoors and in the external environment. A method of operation of the system is provided.
INTERMODAL CONTAINER BUILDING
A kit for constructing a building may include an intermodal container. The intermodal container may include four exterior walls forming a perimeter of the intermodal container, a floor connected to each of the four exterior walls, and a roof connected to each of the four exterior walls. The four exterior walls, the floor, and the roof collectively define an interior volume of the intermodal container. The kit may also include a plurality of structural building components disposed within the interior volume. When the building is constructed with the structural building components, at least one of the four exterior walls of the intermodal container is repurposed as an interior wall of the building.
METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING RELOCATABLE BUILDING BY USING MODULES
Proposed is a method for constructing a relocatable building by using modules, the method including a step a) of preparing a single module and installing a foundation block at a site, a step b) of forming a complex module having one room by assembling at least two single modules with each other on an assembly table near the site, a step c) of lifting the assembled complex module and installing the complex module on the foundation block, and a step d) of installing a roof module on an uppermost complex module and integrally reinforcing the foundation block, the complex module, and the roof module by using a reinforcing means.
