20230131010 · 2023-04-27 ·

A method for installing building panels, the method including forming a composite building panel from a plurality of panels, transporting the composite building panel to the site of installation and lifting the composite building panel by a lifting facility into position within a building.

Floor plate for a multi-story building

A multi-story building includes a vertical support core that is disposed on a foundation, and a plurality of liftable floor plates. The liftable floor plates are fabricated at ground level and lifted into place on the vertical support core. The vertical support core includes vertically-oriented shear walls, and vertically-oriented columns disposed at corners thereof. Vertically-oriented first slots are formed between adjacent ones of the columns disposed at the corners. Each of the liftable floor plates includes girders, lateral framing members, diagonal framing members, and spandrels disposed at an outer periphery of the floor plate. The diagonal framing members are disposed diagonally in relation the lateral framing members and the first and second girders of the floor plate. The diagonal framing members extend through the first slots in the vertical support core and extend to one of the spandrels disposed at the outer periphery of the floor plate.

BUILDING ASSEMBLY SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHOD

A building assembly system for fabricating a multi-story building is described, wherein the building includes a vertical support core arranged on a base. Lift jacks are arranged between a top portion and a bottom portion of the vertical support core, and a reusable bridle is suspended from the plurality of lift jacks and slidably arranged on the vertical support core. A floor plate is assembled onto the bridle at an assembly level that is proximal to the base. The plurality of the lift jacks are operable to lift the bridle and the assembled floor plate to a design elevation on the vertical support core, and are operable to lower the bridle to the assembly level on the vertical support core after the floor plate has been secured to the vertical support core at the design elevation.

MODULAR CLEARSPAN BUILDING, AND MODULAR BUILDING SECTIONS AND CONSTRUCTION METHODS THEREFOR

A modular building section defining the roof and opposing walls of a modular clearspan building. The building section includes a roof portion extending in a longitudinal direction between opposite first and second ends, and a pair of first and second legs, each leg pivotally attached about a pivot axis to the roof portion proximate a roof portion end. Each of the first and second legs has a stowed position in which the leg generally extends in the longitudinal direction and is in superposition with the roof portion, and an expanded position in which the leg depends from the roof portion and generally extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. The legs are moveable independently of each other from their respective stowed positions to their respective expanded positions under the influence of gravity during lifting of the roof portion. Also disclosed are methods for constructing a modular clearspan building.

Assembly for erecting and dismantling a common tower adjacent a building structure and a method of erecting and dismantling the same

The present disclosure relates to a common tower configured to be erected adjacent a building structure into construction. The tower comprises spaced apart columns, made of vertically aligned column hollow sections, spacedly and substantially vertically positioned adjacent the building structure, and vertically spaced apart flooring structures releasably and slidably supported by the spaced apart columns using a plurality of sliders. Each flooring structure is being capable of vertical displacement when supported by the spaced apart columns. The tower further comprises an anchoring system adapted to securely engage with the building structure to maintain the spaced apart columns substantially upright, as well as protection structures adapted to surround the flooring structures. A safe and easy erection of the tower using a common tower assembly is described.

DRILLING RIG WITH SELF-ELEVATING DRILL FLOOR

The present disclosure, in one or more embodiments, relates to a drilling rig with a self-elevating drill floor. The drilling rig may have one or more jacking systems that may operate to raise the drill floor. The one or more jacking systems may raise the drill floor to a height sufficient to accommodate a substructure such as a substructure box. A substructure box may be placed, and the one or more jacking systems may lower the drill floor onto the substructure box. Substructure boxes may be placed beneath the drill floor, using the one or more jacking systems, until a desired drill floor height is reached. In some embodiments, the one or more jacking systems may additionally operate to move the drilling rig, for example between adjacent wells on a pad drilling site. The jacking systems may operate the move the drilling rig using walking feet or another movement mechanism.

A construction method for building a post frame building by first constructing the roof near ground level. The roof assembly can have a removeable safety net system and be coupled to a plurality of support members, such as columns having a hinge connection to the roof assembly. Upon the roof system being lifted, the hinged columns can fold under the roof system and then be coupled to one or more anchor points established in the ground. The roof system can be raised into position at a pre-determined height using a lifting apparatus, such as a hydraulic lift.

Apparatus and method for lifting a concrete slab

A lifting system utilizing a lifting apparatus for lifting a floor (e.g., a concrete slab) using the lifting apparatus to support a floor from under the floor during lifting. The lifting apparatus may have a first portion (e.g., an extension member and saddle) installed under a slab. Piers are driven into the ground through the first portion of the lifting apparatus. Thereafter, a second portion of the lifting apparatus is operatively coupled to the to the first portion and the uppermost pier. A lifting device (e.g., hydraulic ram) is operatively coupled to the lifting apparatus and/or the pier and is used to lift the slab.

The invention relates to a system for erecting a building structure, the system comprising a foundation for receiving the building structure, and a plurality of inner and outer walls, roof and floor panels, the panels being adapted to engage each other for defining at least one story of the building structure, wherein the foundation comprises a first section and a second section, the first section being adapted to bear the load of the building structure and the second section being adapted to provide access to the interiors of the building structure.

Location-based VR topological extrusion apparatus

A modular and scalable system configured to generate a topology platform for training, entertainment, gaming, living, working, acting, viewing, etc. The platform can have a plurality of movable columns that are extendable and retractable. In some embodiments, some of the columns can be retracted to allow users to walk on the columns while other columns can be extended to form a barrier (e.g., wall) or form an inanimate object (e.g., table). The system may be used in furniture to provide topologies for highly customized support structure designs to accommodate varying body shapes, sizes, and individual comfort levels. The system may be used to generate topologies for greenscreen film stages to provide post-production editing, compositing with actors, stuntmen, and video, etc. The platform can be configurable and re-configurable to change the objects and features of the topology and represent different or dynamic environments at any time.
