Attaching an assembled wall module to a building structure
11519179 · 2022-12-06 · ·

Apparatus, systems, and methods for attaching an assembled wall module to a building structure, according to which a framing section, including a plurality of structural members and a first coupler connected to a first structural member of the plurality of structural members, is connected to the building structure. After connecting the framing section to the building structure, relative movement is permitted, via the first coupler, between the framing section and the building structure in a first direction. Before connecting the framing section to the building structure, a plurality of sheeting sections may be connected to the framing section. The framing section may further include a second coupler; in such instances, after connecting the framing section to the building structure, relative movement is permitted, via the second coupler, between the framing section and the building structure in a second direction, which second direction is the same as the first direction.

METHOD OF FORMING VERTICAL WALL AROUND WINDOW FRAME
20220325518 · 2022-10-13 ·

The method for pouring concrete around a window frame begins by spraying a flat surface with a release, followed by positioning window assemblies on the flat surface. The window assemblies include at least a frame, and also possibly a sash, glazing and removable bracing. The window assemblies are secured to the flat surface and then concrete is poured around the window assembly to form a wall. Once the concrete cures around the frame, the bracing is removed, and the wall is tilted/lifted to a vertical position.

Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels and improved methods for creating the same address deficiencies in the current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels use less concrete and less steel reinforcement and weigh less than current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Additionally, improved tilt-up and precast construction panels have greater insulative properties (both heat and sound) than do current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels require less labor on the construction site, thereby increasing efficiency and profitability of construction crews. Additional advantages of implementations of the invention will become apparent through the following description and by practice of implementations of the invention.

PROCESS FOR MAKING A TILT WALL COMPRISING A DUAL GASKET ASSEMBLY

Processes for making a tilt wall comprising a sealed abutment joint between two concrete wall panels comprising a first wall panel, a dual gasket assembly, and a second wall panel, wherein the dual gasket assembly comprises an interior gasket, a support coupling, and a weather gasket, with the support coupling attached to a first edge face of the first wall panel by the metallic channel, wherein the first and second wall panels are aligned adjacent to one another in the same plane, with the support coupling positioned between the first edge face of the first wall panel and a second edge face of the second wall panel, the second edge face of the second wall panel positioned relative to the first wall panel a desired distance proximate the first edge face to form a desired breadth of the abutment joint between the edge faces; and the interior gasket and the outer weather gasket in contact with and compressed against both the first and second edge faces to seal the abutment joint between the edge faces.
