JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT AND SEALING ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH A JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT
A joint-sealing element is useful for fireproof sealing of building-structure joints, especially for fireproof sealing of a joint between a first building part and a second building part, with a carrier element and a sealing profile disposed on this carrier element, wherein the disposed sealing profile contains an intumescent material.
TWO-PIECE TRACK SYSTEM
A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.
Smoke baffle assembly and method of installation
Technologies are described for a smoke baffle assembly and method of installation. The smoke baffle has a longitudinally extending base with an upper leg, a first leg, and a second leg. A first flange extends inward form the first leg and a second flange extends inward from the second leg. A smoke baffle holder holds an upper portion of a smoke baffle and has a first and second outward extending flange. Each of the outward extending flanges and inward extending flanges is configured and disposed for moving the outward extending flanges into the base and above the inward extending flanges and holding the smoke baffle in the base.
Fire-stopping product
A fire-stopping material for use in sandwich panels is provided, wherein the fire-stopping material comprises a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent. A panel for an internal wall and an internal wall are also provided, comprising the fire-stopping material disposed between two substantially parallel boards, such as plaster boards. A method of providing a service penetration through an internal wall is also provided.
FIRE-STOPPING PRODUCT
A fire-stopping material in a panel for an interior building wall is provided. The fire-stopping material includes a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent.
JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT WITH PREDETERMINED GEOMETRY AND SEALING ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH A JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT
A joint-sealing element for sealing building-structure joints is described, especially for sealing against sound and/or smoke and if necessary against fire. In particular, a joint-sealing element for sealing on a building construction and/or on a building structure is described, especially for sealing a joint between a first building part and a second building part, with a carrier element and a sealing profile disposed on this carrier element, wherein the disposed sealing profile has a predetermined geometry.
Furthermore, a sealing arrangement as well as a method for sealing building-structure joints is described, especially for sealing against sound and/or smoke and if necessary against fire, with such a joint-sealing element.
FIRE BLOCKING REVEAL
A fire-rated reveal piece and wall assemblies or other assemblies that incorporate the fire-rated reveal piece, in which the reveal piece can include an intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The reveal can be attached adjacent to a corner, flange or leg of a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed between the framing member and a wall board member at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. A fire spray material can be applied over a portion of the reveal piece.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSISTING IN REDUCING THE SPREAD OF FIRE, SMOKE OR HEAT IN A BUILDING
System for assisting in reducing the spread of fire between adjacent rooms in a building proximate to the ceiling thereof includes an elongated header track, at least one elongated filler constructed at least partially of compressible or elastic material and at least one fire-blocker constructed at least partially of fire retarding material.
BARRIER ASSEMBLY
A barrier assembly used in the protection of personnel at worksites and/or residential areas from escapes of gas. Such a barrier assembly controls the lateral and vertical spread of gas in the event of an escape of the gas, even more particularly toxic gas. The barrier assembly can be used at operating sites where gases are produced, and in particular where high concentrations of toxic gases (e.g. CO2, H2S, SO2, mercaptans etc.) are present. The barrier assembly can, optionally acting as a safety system in the event of an accidental uncontrolled release of these toxic gases into the atmosphere.
